When I was a kid, I never understood this lying, theocratic stratergy thought. It's great though! It gives you a license to pretty much decieve or outright lie to anybody you want, including parents, elders, the police.....works for me.

How do you like your steak?

when i got there...i was given entry into a brother's house where they were having a huge bbq where steaks were on the grill...and the brother made four steaks...and set one steak aside for himself and declared it was his.
i asked why ...he said "cause i like my steak medium rare.

The one thing I never understood about not being able to have blood transfusions, is that even though the Bible taught against eating blood, doing so if it were for the sake of not starving to death was forgiven. So if God forgives a person for eating blood if it is to save a life, why is it not alright to have a transfusion in order to save a life?
I asked my friend that very question.. Blank stare, still no answer ...............

i was always told it was to be a witness of jehovah, meaning you stood up for and defended your faith, your beliefs.
i realize that this is a hard thing for some to do, it takes bravery, knowledge, faith and a convection that what you believe is right.

Ahh,
This explains the sudden drop in emails from my JW friend.. I send him emails all the time saying Hi, and he usually replies with some off the wall question that he needs to know or something... Lately, he's been 'tooo busy' to respond to emails... Now I know why... I guess I should ask him if his conscience suddenly changed as related to the use of Email :-)
Oh, and I've always wondered about the copyright issue with their literature... I find it very interesting, and revealing, that the NWT translation was done without the credits of the authors who wrote it, so that the glory can goto Jehovah, but any literature that they make is copyrighted to the 'Earthly Organization'.. I guess the earthly organization can get the credit, just no person individually... :-(

My guess, soon the WT is gonna be up to their armpits in legal lawsuits over the silent lambs stuff... They may not be able to 'hide' everything... I.E. Yeah, there are numerous poeple who where on the 'list' who had more than two witnesses to them (at seperate times), or people on the list were still left as Elders, MS, etc...
The law is gonna chew them up and spit them out for inconsistencies like that.. Forget that their 'policy' is rubbish, they aren't even following their own policy.. And they certainly cannot dispose of the 'list' that they already have publicly admitted exists, so it's gonna be a field day.. And stuff is gonna come out and be exposed that the R&F are gonna have to swallow, because it is gonna defy any 'human reasoning' !!!

Why do so many people believe that jesus is god?
by Legendary U.2.K. ini still say that, christiaity is f--- up in these last days.. christianity teaches that the messiah is god, when the bible clearly points out that jesus is a prophet sent by god... jesus prayed to god<----that's the biggest proof... so i think if anybody believe that jesus is god, is not only an'-ti-christ(not accepting) but also a liar, foolish, and you knoweth nothing, and you are not close to god or christ, you are closer to that devil which we call satan....

Ok, I'll join the fray here...
If the WT is correct, and John 1:1 is correct, that means that Jesus (a god) prayed to another God..
Moreover, doesn't that mean that you must pray to Jesus (a god) to get to Jehovah, "The God", who also states there will be no other gods before him..
So, why would Jehovah allow his son the title of "a god" when the bible clearly states that no other "god" will be before Jehovah..
Praying through "a god" to get to "The god" would seem to indicate to me that there is a 'god' in the middle...
I'm not saying the trinity is right, nor am I saying it is wrong.. Personally, I've never really thought about it a great deal before, but I would like to NonTrinitarian's here to answer this question...
