  if you discover, while getting to know a potential partner, that they have cheated on a previous partner........ don't touch them.

  The threat of missing meetings?

  this morning i had the memory flashback of something my mom used to always say: that missing meetings is like missing a 'meal', and that if you don't 'eat' on a regular basis, then you will lose your life.

  she would come at me with "you have to stay close to the meetings - when armaggedon comes, that is where we will get our directions on where to go and what to do".. i used to be scared not to be at meetings for fear the end would come and i would be alone...or without my parents...all because that day i didn't go to the khall.

  anyone else remember that???

  Yes. Meetings are like large nourishing meals. Regular partaking will keep you healthy and regular to the bathroom.

  More "sex texting" on Facebook...Circuit Assembly

  so my congregation just had their circuit assembly on 3/14.

  recalling the thread about "facebook sex", i told a non-witness friend at work that after this assembly is over he would notice one of our mutual friends would either lower his time on fb or delete it altogether.

  sure enough, come sunday night, his profile was gone.

  Open mind brings up a very good point. If you have a serious problem with a JW. The Elders will STRONGLY discourage you from taking legal action EVEN if it is criminal in nature.

  Have you been defrauded? Mt 18 applies. Try and get fair treatment on that. I was told once that I was rich and could afford to eat the loss of a contractor stiffing us. A court would have nailed the guy as a crook.

  If they embezzle, which happened to us, the Elders 'insisted' we drop action because of the reproach on JG's organization. "It will look bad!" Besides, they've promised to pay you back over time. They never paid a dime back.

  A non-JW did get caught embezzling once, but just the threat of jail by the prosecutor caused them to pay back the money ASAP.
