  Letter from GB to all Congregations

  this morning i found out that last night at the service meeting, a letter was read from the society to a nearby congr.

  about the danger of the internet.. they warned all the dubs about being on the internet because many are being influenced fom apostate websites and pornography.. does anyone else have the details of what was said and read?.

  Enlarging and changing my business - finally.

  well, after years of indecision and inability to settle into any real career, i have finally decided on a viable, meaningful one for me; and it's one that has endless potential (for work, at least).

  i am doing research now and will probably take some courses and apply for sbc grants to start my own small-scale recycling business.

  i already have a few potential clients in the people for whom i currently work, and will hopefully have references and other clients from them.

  Did leaving the borg ruin your marriage

  has anyone else here left the borg and had it go over like a lead ballon, ruining their marriage?

  mine is quickly heading that way.

  i have been married for about a decade, and have a couple of kids - both in grade school.

  Yes--our marriage ended about the time I left. Also, it didn't take long before both children were back with me because they created problems by asking questions JWs don't encourage. Married for 22 years as JWs, and it lasted about 6 months when I saw the truth about the sect.

  who besides me turned a friend into the elders for something trivial?

  i told on a girl for liking a worldy boy at school.

  me and another brother actually waited down the street from the boys house to see if she went there after school, just to get some proof for the eders.

  i cant believe i did that:( did anyone else spy on another witness like i did?

  I turned in someone for cleaning the union hall during a strike. He wouldn't walk the picket line, but in order to get the union-strike pay he cleaned the union hall. JWs were are not allowed to take part in strikes in any way (maybe they still can't) and I ran to the elders about this sin. The guy is still a JW (this happened about 25-years ago)--some folks never seem to learn.

  It's shamefull to think about the things you did as a brain-dead JW.

  Should Bush and Cheney be Impeached?

  should they be impeached for the iraq war?

  if you google the words impeach, bush, and cheney, you will get about 1,600,000 hits.

  even on the radio there is talk about the need to start the impeachment process.

  How should I report zero hours for November?

  this was my topic november 3rd;.

  for the first time in my jw history, i turned in a slip with a big zero written in every column,.

  turned it over and wrote "zero tracts" below that, i wrote "stumbled by the co".

  You're giving a fine witness here--count the time you spend on the forum. You could even list the Web site on the time slip as "Return Visits."

  Where does most of the WBT$ Literature really go?

  the wbt$ prints an incredible amount of literature..jehovah`s witness`s usually buy multiple copies of everything..where does it all go?..you can`t throw it away or burn it,only satan burns watchtower literature..lol!

  !..my mom has floor to ceiling copies of all of it..every jw i know has a garage,basement or spare bedroom filled with it..there must be millions of dollars worth of wbt$ literature that has never been placed door to door..where did most of your wbt$ literature really go?...outlaw

  I'm sure most of the JW literature ends up in landfills or being burned. Sooner or later JWs move or die, and the literature becomes ash or landfill. None of this matters to the Tower because the never-ending literature keeps the slaves busy and money rolling in even if few really reads the stuff. The literature goes into the trash, but the Tower's money goes into their bank.

  Called for Jury Duty

  i'm what you would call a unpatriotic, and a free thinker who doesn't agree with the judicial system in california.

  i've been called for jd about six or more times and every time they never use me because i make it very plain that i don't and won't play be thier rules when it comes to jd.

  usually i'm the first one the prosecutor dismisses because of my free thinking unpatriotic point of views that i make known as soon as i can.. i think our prisons are over crowded because of the states eagerness to inprision people, for things that i can never agree with.

  I started voting nearly 20-years ago (that's how one gets picked in Ohio) and have been called for jury duty about a half-dozen times. I've actually served on a jury two times. It's not perfect, but . . .

  The thrill of halloween as an x JW......making little kids happy!

  we have had so much fun!

  darling little children to our door with their parents behind them.....our dogs wanting to kiss everyone.

  one batch came with a little black kitten so we have had to contain the dogs since then.. in all my years in the jw society i have never felt such joy.

  Halloween is fun for kids of all ages. I just walked through one of our college dorms passing out candy and tickets to a ball game. They didn't expect someone passing candy and tickets out, which added to the fun.

  It sure beats passing out the Tower's crap on Saturday morning.
