  does our little crusade matter to the world?.

  considering jw's make up such a small part of the worlds population to what extent do our beefs with the organisation matter to anyone unconnected?.

  should our opinions of witness beliefs concern people more than witness themselves .should everyone have the right to make up there own mind and chose to be witnesses without us interfereing?.

  Apostate minimum qualifications

  i was a baptized jw, so now i, to the best of my understanding, am regarded as an apostate by jw's in good standing.. my daughter was never baptized, but she so wants to be an apostate that i have taken pity on her and decided to find out if she qualifies anyway.

  she was brought up as a jw.

  after i left her dad, she mostly lived with him so that the indoctrination could continue.. she lost her religion anyway, so is there any hope for her to be considered an apostate.

  i remember talking to an elder about judicial commitees whilst we were on a security shift (which lasted for twenty minutes each during the meetindgs, with other brothers coming out after your twenty minutes was up to take your place).

  he was feeling open because he had just been on one that disfellowshipped a young woman whom he had watchde grow up in "the truth".. so we were chatting and i asked him "what if you make a mistake?

  " and he said "oh, we don't make mistakes, god's holy spirit is directing us.".

  nyte, I can't imagine why an Elder would try and cover over hiz mistakes, especially when the Society sez otherwise, unless, oh let me think......oh yes,when the Society of JW's haz been doing just that ever sence its inception!

  Great example of, "the pot calling the kettle black"!!!!!!!

  A question on counting time

  well after lurking for a year i figure it's time to start giving back and geting views on my own thoughts, here we go.

  my wife (a jw i'm not)was saying lastnight that she felt bad because she only got 2 hrs this month so far (going out all day today).

  never mind the fact she's started to volunteer at a childrens hospital.. .

  my wife went into my email and found out i have been looking at porn and chatting with other women she went to the elders and told them i go before them on sunday.

  what do you think my fate will be

  jazz,in my opinion, the problem izn't PORN, but honesty with your wife. The reason you are living two lives, so to speak,will cause distress in your marriage.

  One of the problems iz with the Watch Tower & the position you have allowed them to inject in your private life. Why would you want known HYPOCRITES & FALSE PROPHETS to have any say at all in your life? The Catholic Church haz CONFESSION, the WT haz their TRIBUNIALS & they both dispence punishment. I thought the only MEDIATOR between God & man waz Jesus?

  If it waz me, I would talk to my wife about the REAL things that matter to us & leave the Borg out of it!

  i know ya'll will probably get sick of seeing my name but i hope you understand why i am here so much.. anyway, one really ironic thing i was thinking about is that its amazing how much hate i had/have inside of me my whole life.

  hate my father, my sister.

  i have always been angry and hated people.

  flower, may I say, WELCOME TO THE REAL WORLD!
  Your posts are very heartfelt & honest,something impossible to achieve when one iz under MIND-CONTROL. The WT view, az you said, iz one of constant judgement to a hedious death of your fellowman & creates a CANCER OF THE SOUL.

  Relationships take time,but with the "evil veil of WT lies" removed,life will just get better! Its feels sooooo good to be free, but takes awhile to appreciate it,rather like living in a dark cave & then seeing the light of a beautiful day,it can be blinding at first.

  A Question no one can answer?

  a long, long, time ago, when, i waz in dubland,i asked a question to a coulpe of fellow dubs.

  the "question" got me a lot of strange looks & a little "shunning" to boot.

  it waz later spread around i waz boasting of having, "a question no one can answer"which of course, waz not true.. my question: if every decision one makes iz based on heredity & environment,things we originaly have no choice over, do we really have a choice or free will?.

  Seeker,look at it this way, your first decision waz based on (if you could remember) something that existed in you that you had no control over & every decision thereafter haz to be based on something already there, like a chain of dominoes.
