Any one watch Season Six of DEXTER on Showtime.. The doomsday killers...

.. and all revelations stuff... it reminde me of the society ... when travis said to dr. gellar.." look at all the people they're all dead!

yikrs to familliar... so it did make me look to one of the only wts books around here..it's a red one... any way look up two witness in it .. cuz these two serial killers think they are... two paragraphs i new it was bs!!!.

In a funeral... or when the JWs want to show they're different

a couple of days ago i went to the funeral of an old age brother in his 80s.. well, that was the typical jw funeral although his daughter and the rest of his family are not witnesses.

as you know the brothers don't wear black clothes nor they show lot of sadness as a "prove" they believe in resurrection.. the problem this time is some of them went too far.

two sisters had red clothing and at the entrance a group of brothers were literally laughing.

they were late for my grandma services... that was the first time I had seen any in awhile.. didn't like there message, plus grandma never was a witnees on any level. Grandpa was an original Intl BS... he did three years later.. we did our own mermorial for him

my brothers friend died young in a car crash... didn't go to service, remeber brother Reporting they didn't say any thing about him.. they just used it as platform to preach..... not surprised at this .

they are certainly certain they are the best people in the world... sry for your loss bro

wow, i had some words with my father in law.

over the years i have always had such a profound respect for him because he used to speak from the heart and used the bible to express his view, but lately he has become more and more "wt-ish" with his comments.

my wife has been suffering from severe pain for years due to injuries suffered at the hands of her 1st husband.

Very VEry Good thread.. it was my child who woke me up, when I saw her and fell in real love with her.. I knew I didn't want her teach that stuff .. I let her MOM have custody , I'm glad I did..waiting thinking if its the truth it will hold up..it did not.. She is twenty- one and I finally had show her what Her Dad's religion was, I had never expained my position, She just knew Daddy didn't celebrate.. I sent her on facebook the video 'GRowing up JW 1960- 2010... It took 21 one years but, my desire not to decieve my own daughter... saved ME TOO...

Yes ! the love of a child... My sis is still in just had Kids.. waited till late 40's cuz of new System... now is coming to visit .. all her Df Da INac, familly . and me and my Dad noticed big changes in her we thought the Society might have changed.. since looking on here I see they haven't ... this is encouraging .. i want to get her out .. she got me In..

on her last visit she made a comment about Tate saving the family.. hummm..

when i was a jw i often thought... why was being in the "truth" so hard (to live it and do all the sh!t) and why didn't it feel good and why wasn't there any real good results (as far as recruits).. just sayin.

Bound Volumes WTF

i remeber thinking, when i had to deal with the mass amount of bv that our family had aquired and thinking, " why would they make everyone keep all this stuff since it's old and we're always receiving new light" plus we had to do the ones we made our self with the wires, cuz we were to poor to afford the brown ones.. .

i threw them all away .. felt guilty doing it at the time.. wtf.. it was two trash cans full.

always thought it was odd to make everyone keep them... really isn't it like a kind worship of the wbts.. .

hello I Am the Tater-T

so here i am... finally.. i'm 3rd gen, df'd since 87 .. married a worldly girl in 88.. to save my soul, daughter in 90 divorced in 92.... let my daughter be raised by others, figured if it's the truth... i'll present it when she old enough to be acountable... just sent her the video growing up jw 1960-2010. by not wanting to teach this to my child, resonated within and well here iam... thanks to this site and all of you... everyone on my dad's side of family is df'd or inactive except my older sister, who has been flying over here to idaho to see us from hawaii.. which is making me think she is getting tired of the retoric.... i don't know where i'm going with this... i just want to change my way of thinking.. i can't see the future... but now i know why.... i have a lot to share, but for now just one thought, on being a jw child.. in 3rd grade i never got see one cartoon on saturday.. when all the other kids were talking about how awesome hong kong phooey was... i just sat there paralized, prentending to have seen it... and angry lol ... i think there are a lot more people out there like me... out but still clinging to 'the truth' in their heads.. because going against is the ultimate 'unforgivable' sin.... that it for now l8r t8r.

It's been a litttle overwelming .. too say the least, I'm a little preoccupied with it too.. seeking balance and how to proceed ..

It's so obvious now I can't see anything good about them .

Example: My grandpa an original Int' Bible student... On YOU can only read spiritual material from the 'Faithful and Descrete Slave' ... "CULT 101"

Grandpa read everything! And my Uncle upon seeing he was reading a book from Billy Graham, stating how somethings didn't apply to Grandpa

Ok ... so that being said if it's the "truth" it should stand up to anything and these others shouldn't be a threat.. right!
