When you left the JW's, did you remain a Christian
by kenpodragon inwhen you left the jw's, did you remain a christian?
the reason i ask, is that when i left the witnesses i explored all kinds of concept and religions and even attended a few churches.
i soon found that i was attracted to new age and pagan believes.

When I left, I hardly gave much thought to any higher powers. I was more concerned with making up for lost time. For years I would have labeled myself agnostic, but in the last 10 years have been more atheist (with pagan tendencies). Until recent months i've avoided all forms of religion and religious conversation.

A Case of Entrapment?
by patio34 inwhy is it that modern justice says entrapment is unfair?
are they more just than god?
consider the case of adam and eve: there they were, more innocent than any humans who had ever lived.

Wow what an interesting line of thought Pat. I guess if it happened in more recent times we'd have to call it Edengate.

Was Noah's Flood Local?
by JosephAlward inachristian believes those who think the bible teaches that the flood was global look foolish.
he wrote, .
i encourage all christians to investigate the possibility that the bible does not really teach that the whole earth was flooded at the time of noah.

I can answer one of KJV's about the dove. Most of the biblical account of the flood is taken from previous flood stories. A dove was used in the Epic of Gilgamesh, the writer of Genesis just borrowed it from this account.

Does anyone really care
by kenpodragon indoes anyone really care what active witnesses think of them?
i ask, because on many of the ex-witness boards i see a lot of mention of what people think others say behind their back.
personally, i hope the witnesses think i am the devil himself and fear me upon sight of me.
-
Sargon
Personally Ken, I don't care what most people think of me. But my Mom and other family members are witnesses and I do care about them. They don't like alot of the things I do, but I would like to think that they still care about me as a person.
By the way, I recognize your dragon picture, is that from a D&D boxed set? -
