Funny things that have happend to you

i think sometimes those are funnier than any joke, after all it actually happend!.

well off the top of my head, one thing that happend to me was i slipped going in to my history class in hs, and ended up looking like i was doing a split.. i know that's not much but my class and teacher got a kick out of it at the time.

Hey Cello, thats happened to me too, but I was an adult. Try to pass a little gas and a MilkDud jumps in the way!!!!!
When I was 15, my family went camping, I was taking a dump next to a tree and two good looking women who were hiking, walked up on me. Oh god I wanted to die!! I could hear them laugh as they walked away.

something that always bothered me was society's policy of putting restrictions on people for wrong doing.

folks get reinstated, and full restrictions its like being punished and when you and then punished again how loving.

its just another way the borg uses to control people.

when you left the borg.... what things did you find hardest to do again ( or for the first time?)?.

was it celebrating the holidays for the first time, or talking to a "worldly person"?.

how long till it began to feel normal?

I agree with Brit, bening inactive sometimes the JWs stop by my house to chat, I don't like it, and it makes me sick to hear about their good call and good talk at the KH, like I don't know what they are trying to do. Oh and smoking pot was hard when I left, and going to the riverboats and gambling.

hey, i just thought of something every disfellowshiped or disassociated person in here could do to really piss the elders off.

write a letter to them saying you want to be reinstated, because every time you do this they have to meet with you.

see how many time you can get them to meet.

i love watching american football, so right after the meeting all in my family would go straight for the car, so we could catch as much as possible.

Ill try, but Simon don't like my jokes lol. A few housewives were sitting around the table talking, and the subject turned to their husbands. One lady said "My husband just won't go to church with me, I think he's going to go tohell." This led to talk around the table and it was generally agreed that, for one reason or another, all the husbands were going to end up in hell.

So, then the housewives started speculating about themselves. One woman said "I try to be good - I'm sure I'll make it to Heaven." Another one said "No, I did this bad thing, I won't make it." So, then they noticed that one of the ladies wasn't saying anything. And they looked at her and said "You're such a nice lady, surely you're going to Heaven...?"

She says "No, first thing in the morning, I'm going to buy me a ticket straight to hell!" They were shocked and asked why.

"Well, you don't expect me to live in a world without men, do you??!?"

larc's thread on coupons gave me this idea.. we all know coupons can save you a few dollars or more.

but how do you save real money???.

Don't live next to a river boat, and if you do go don't take them up on their free drinks. Damn Gambling!!!! Oh by the way if y'all come to visit me, I know the perfect place to take you, they give away free drinks.

as an active jw, did you really ever believe that you would survive armageddon?

with me, i served as an elder, regular pioneer, was over the book room at district conventions, but i always felt it was not enough, i was never real sure i would survive the big day of god almighty!!

the reason i ask y'all is, i don't think you can feel real sure in a organization that is legalistic and work orientated .
