It's one of the only thing's a witness can say and I say; "You know what, we actually agree on something". That, and the trinity thing.

i may have asked this question before awhile back but i was not able to find it in the search.
other than what the nwt provides for information.. how do the jw's provide proof for this no hell belief?

my father dad himself for purely emotional reasons when my parents got divorced seven years ago.
it was a rash decision to say the least.
i re-established contact with him about three months ago.
Great news Bradley. If he's "righteously disposed" to actual truth, like he sounds like he is, then it looks like you have a great potential recruit to the "dark side".

It's all a bunch of crap. How can we trust these numbers, when they can alway's lie and say it's theocratic warfare intended to "encourage" the flock?

i was invited to attend the latest visit from the circuit overseer last week.
what timely admonishment.
he brought out how we should not tire out in the race for life.
Would you rather stay home sick...or suck the co's d#$k?

Telling the flock they are at the happiest place on earth has to have an adverse effect when the hapless meeting attenders actually think to themselves; "Am I happy?" And they realize "No I'm not". I alway's thought Disneyworld was supposed to be the happiest place on earth. Where would you rather be? I was there at the "happiest place on earth", and I thought; "If this is the happiest place on earth, I'll take a dismally unhappy place like a dimly lit bar and good conversation instead, and wallow in my unhappiness.

I was invited to attend the latest visit from the Circuit Overseer last week. What timely admonishment. He brought out how we should not tire out in the race for life. He compared the Jews griping about the manna to Christians today who get tired of hearing the same old stuff from the "Slave Class". Example was people who were glad the Isaiah book study was over etc. What almost made me laugh out loud, was when he talked about how some people think they would actually be free and enjoy life outside the organization. How could they? "What kind of freedom is there in......jail? or contracting VD? If that is freedom, you can have it. The ONLY way to true lasting happiness is by associating with God's organization. Let me ask dear brother's...Has recreation become the main focus of your life? Do you hang out with your buddy, or study? Would you rather go to the beach, or preach? You see friends there is no better place to be than right here at the Kingdom Hall....The happiest place on earth." Timely reminders indeed.

i have been thinking of studying to become one but am also having a hard time finding anything on the net that is positive about it.

Where does it say in the bible that we're all supposed to be mouthpiece's of God? Follow the "EXAMPLE" of Christ yes. Does that mean that we are to do EVERYTHING that Jesus did? Jesus set the example of wearing sandals and skirts, are we supposed to do that too?

there's every reason to believe the watchtower watches this place and similar ones around the globe.
they tell witnesses the internet is evil but they watch what goes on here.
they are true hypocrites!
If someone thinks that there are plants from the tower on this site, I think they should be "outed'. Unless this is pure speculation, I think those of us who have something to lose by being snared by the borg have a right to know exactly who these supposed plants are, especially if we have contributed to this board for a length of time. Are these vague references to trolls and Watchtower plants of any validity? In other words...I'd like to know who they are if it's true. If there are these posters out there, what would be the purpose in not taking them to task?
Thanks for any input,
