We had a lot of evangelical Christians in our territory. I made sure to wear long skirts, little make up and flats. I thought we were trying to attract ppl to the truth. Many sisters adjusted their mode of dress for service. Funny, once an evangelical Christian sister git baptized, she was expected to start fitting in with the sisters by changing her mode of dress. That didn't happen. and ppl talkedbehind her back. Too bad some are so ignorant.

Head coverings yet again in the latest KM
by life is to short inmy husband just gave me the latest km the novermber 2013 and it yet again has a question box on head coverings.. question box "should a female publisher wear a head covering if she is accompanied by a male pubisher at a doorstep bible study?".
it says "when a female publisher conducts a reagular, scheduled bible study and a male kingdom publisher is present, she should wear a head covering.
(1 cor 11: 3-10) the july 15 2002, issue of the watchtower page 27, explains: "this is a prearranged session of teaching where the one conducting the the study actually presides.

then with the same hand, he grabbed the microphone and passed it back to the microphone carrier.

Eve made our periods painful
by rebel8 ini was just remembering this teaching--that a mythical woman ate a piece of fruit 1000s of years ago after a snake told her to, and that's the reason we have menstrual pain.. you see, the bible says eve was cursed for her sin with painful childbirth.
hence we can make up extrapolate that this includes menstruation, which is just part of childbearing.
then we can make up extrapolate that this applies to all females in the entire human race today, because according to a loving god we should all share in her sin as we all have vaginas too.. i remember crying in total agony while i was insulted comforted by having this scripture and explanation read aloud to me, and thinking how much this knowledge drew me closer to jehovah made me realize what a misogynistic wackadoodle cult this was.. thor causing thunder is more plausible than this.. if dubs take midol, does that mean they are scoring jehovah's lesson?.

Jam-- give every woman the same size breasts? Why? I would thnk the variety, even in various stages of life,is intriguing to men. I guess not I appreciate having gone from a B cup to D! The changes were WOW! DDidn't know my body could do that.
Backseat Devil-- a c-section is not cheating! In fact, a c-section Is major abdominal surgery requiring months of Recovery. Vagnal delivery is much easier on the female body.

I made a huge mistake

Can i say something? You purchased your gift with YOUR money-- his money and your money. YOUR in this case meaning PLURAL. I'm sure that you staying at home was a joint decision, so that $$ is yours too.
As for notgetting any gufts now ever bc he returned to the jws, well,vthats not fair to you. How do you all of a sudden go from celebratinghholidays as a couple and then nothing. I would think he'd still continue the practice of giving. He's not much of a gift-giver? Ok.... but just like jgnat said, how does he show his love and affection? Maybe he cleans, cooks, makes extra good love to.you on special occasions? What is he giving? Bc it is very difficult to be in a relationship when you're the only one givng.
