this involves appreciation of the value of the sacrifice of jesus human life and of his position today as heavenly king.

Are you the one on this where someone said, my GF has a talk tonight ?...He added a few things...if it is...& copied & pasted it to a word document to make a copy...I read it to a sistet to say...I was practicing...she couldn't really say anything...Glad it went well...

Once a sister said, reason why people think witnesses don't believe in Jesus is because they say Jehovah all the time, but we do imitate him.

Again, glad it went well...I hope you did wake some of them up...but as I said all over this forum, you are not fighting doctrine, you are fighting the fact they are addicted to the fact that it is God's mouthpiece...now if anyone can disprove that ......now that's a miracle...

Who is the FDS class from midweek meeting....last night

last night we had our midweek meeting.

the bible reading was from "who is doing jehovah's will....the part where they asked who was the fds.

i thought because of the past sept. wt, every hand would go up....all you heard were crickets.

If the world continues, they are going to have to change it again. To tell you the truth, lol the Truth, had to say that....Most witnesses don't even care. This is God's mouthpiece & that's all that matters. I'm so silly...I should know they could pull the curtain back & there would be 8 ole men drinking coca cola & eating breakfast bars telling folks how to live...Oh yeah, the men behind the curtain have 8 dancing ladies...got to keep them ole men perky, ya know..

Also on this site someone had to help his GF with a talk last night...the one about being in the true religion re: Jesus, can't rightly remember...I made a copy of it & called one of the sisters & said, just for practice I did the talk & I read it to her...crickets & UMMMMM....I think witnesses miss the point about Jesus...& while we are in the Hebrew scriptures it makes them uneasy....because they know what they read but they don't really recognize Jesus the way God intends..do they ?

Last night we had our midweek meeting. The bible reading was from "Who is doing Jehovah's will....The part where they asked who was the FDS. I thought because of the past Sept. WT, every hand would go up....All you heard were crickets. One hand went up & said the annointed. My oh My, what is in the minds of witnesses now...they don't know who the FDS class is ? They are so confused they have no idea who the FDS class is...NOW. They are too afraid to even think that a bunch of old men are giving us the spiritual food. I was sitting next to an elder & his wife..they didn't even flinch or even look to see if ANY hands were raised...Why didn't they raise their hands, I know why? The don't know anymore. The society has tossed arond the friends like waves. Where is their smugness now ? All knowing witnesses, they know everything, even the things God, didn't tell anyone...Like when is the end of this system. The know more than God, & Jesus...

Anyone go to the meeting last night? How was the participation ?

I have my meeting tonight I copied & pasted your talk...It is great & hope it does open some eyes...this is what JW's think, they worship Jehovah but respect & imitate Jesus. Satan approached Jesus many times.., yet I do remember Satan approaching God in the book of Job. They also feel that Satan doesn't care if you worship Jesus, as long as you don't God. I don't know what they think of the scripture that says, "Jesus is the way"...I think that whatever other religions do, JW's have decided to do the opposite. We are going thru the Greek scriptures very quickly, but when going thru the Hebrew scriptures, we only read a few chapters at a time but with the Greek, we are doing a drive-by. This is to take the focus off of Jesus & to keep the mind control. Because some of them might just wake up & say, Hey, something isn't right here. What I get from this Jesus thing is that God came up with something different & just wondering if us humans can change. First he said to worship him, then when Jesus came he said, you can still worship me but you have to recognize my Son as well, if you don't then you don't recognize me. It's like going into an office & wanting to speak to the CEO & he says, you have to talk to my secretary, if she thinks it's ok, then you can come in. The Greek scriptures make witnesses uneasy, I can see that at the meetings. Because deep in their minds, they know...we ain't focusing on the right dude. Hope to hear how it turns out. Just thought of a funny, suppose who has the parts tonight don't show up, I made 2 copies, you never know, they may need someone to volunteer, don't think I won't use your talk..

"I feel sorry for the women stuck in this religion". So true. I have been there at the hall for a while now. There are so many ladies looking for a mate. The only way you can get one is if you are young, because the young ones hang together or if you bring your own man. Some got married just because...if you see some of the couples in their you wonder to yourself, wow, what did they see in each other. Some are married in name only. There are not too many males attracted to the Truth. Why? How many men do any of us know that would stand on line to be celibate ? Every now & again, the brothers are told to try to appeal to more males. Still men are not attracted to the JW's, maybe only married men, they are safe & can follow the orgs. rules. When a brother comes to talk at Sunday meetings, all the ladies look at the brothers 3rd finger, left hand..100% of the time..they are married. If you are single & in the truth, you better be happy you are single...because that's the way it's going to be.

Here's one that I always comment on, on this site...."If this was not God's organization, would you still stay & if so, do you stay because it is" ?

I find whenever I talk to witnesses all they say is...THIS IS THE TRUTH & THIS IS GOD'S ORGANIZATION...it's not the doctrine, it's not anything we think it is...it's the fact that they believe it's God's Mouthpiece. The org. gives you a sense of belonging & being chosen. That's most of their foundation. There is a certain type that is attracted to this type of worship...I can't put my finger on it as of yet, but it's coming into view...Many have given up on mostly everything & everybody, so the Org. is all they have, & there is nothing that can happen to move them. They know about the child abuse, they know about the UN, the know about Bethel, they know that their doctrine changes, they know some get DF'd & some just get a slap on the wrist...they know all this but what keeps them there is, This is their world & they gave up all to belong to the org. There are so many that you can say, but to me this is their foundation & their claim to fame...I'm just saying.

And guess what? You CAN!: &&&& This is why you can...Eccl 3:1-8:

There is an appointed time for everything, A time for every activity under the heavens: 2 A time for birth and a time to die; A time to plant and a time to uproot what was planted; 3 A time to kill and a time to heal; A time to tear down and a time to build up; 4 A time to weep and a time to laugh; A time to wail and a time to dance;* 5 A time to throw stones away and a time to gather stones together; A time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing; 6 A time to search and a time to give up as lost; A time to keep and a time to throw away; 7 A time to rip apart+ and a time to sew together; A time to be silent+ and a time to speak;+ 8 A time to love and a time to hate;+ A time for war and a time for peace.

What this scripture really says, is...YOU CAN DO ANYTHING & EVERYTHING...WHEN THE TIME IS RIGHT...& if the JW police don't get you. The daily text are to keep you mind in control ....DAILY...more information, to make a JW think more highly of themselves. Today's text is about...keeping your entire being with God, your entire life/heart should be on & with God. Don't marry anyone that isn't God fearing or a JW, that's the moral of the story. Don't be like Solomon, he was good 'til he started messing with women who were not God fearing...

Earthly Organization Reset - What Would You Do?

i've been reading and posting comments on this site for a while now (about a year) and the comments i see indicate that many who are here have good ideas about what would be required if either (1) jehovah's witnesses were completely reset and the whole framework of belief and organization were started over or (2) if a completely new organization were built.

this assumes, of course, that you believe god exists and that he is interested in human affairs (i know some of you don't).

it also assumes that you do not believe that the "heritage" of jehovah's witnesses has such great weight and importance that it precludes putting all beliefs and procedures on the table to examine them and change them if necessary.. given all this, what do you believe should be the beliefs and organization of true worship today?

Exactly what I thought. I put this in the site just so I could confirm what I already knew. I live in NYC, it's freezing today. I saw a homeless man sitting on the sidewalk & a man talking to him, when I turned the corner I saw a van....BC (I THINK) HOMELESS OUTREACH...they ride around looking for the homeless & try to find them a place to get warm & some food. I once saw a witness van out there once, but just driving around, doing what I don't know. I would love to know what happened in New Orleans when Katrina hit. Did they run around the stadium giving out tracts or magazines ? I have never heard any media say that the witnesses helped anyone. I do know that when some of them volunteer for RBC, they let you know about it. Look at us we are helping..Of course when things happen, we should first help our own, but then you can also extend yourself to others...As organized as the witnesses are, they surely could contribute to disasters all over the world...

Thank you for telling me what I knew. I will store that in the back of my brain, for the future when one of the friends say, We Help, I'll just nod my head & say in my head...sure you do. I have heard many stories about the org. not helping folks who dedicated their lives to God. They may hate the catholics but they sure do take care of the nuns, they don't toss them out when the get older, do they?

i know this is a long topix, but this week are bible highlights are 1john to jude..& i think it's 1john or whatever, says do not be part of this world because the world does not originate with the father, then another scriptures says, the world is lying in the hands of the wicked one..satan..yet, another scripture says, god so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son...all different scriptures...what is the meaning of this.

i would ask a witness but i don't want to...the forum is open to all...looking forward to comments...i just had a thought...maybe god sent his son to free those of the world, but don't he love the world..i'm confused... legacy.

I think this would only apply to those who can't change nor do they want to, because they don't think anything is wrong with them. They become a bible student, hurry-up & get baptized then want a bible student themselves because they haven't changed one thing about themselves. They just changed how they dressed, how neatly they keep their literature and bible...speak in a sweet syrupy voice & viola, they are holier than anyone. So they don't take a look at themselves so they teach, because they can't do what they preach so they find helpless folks to try to change them & meanwhile the bible conductor still has some big hang nails...when you talk to a witness they always say to cover their tails...well, we are imperfect, or a work in progress or I'm still working on that, but when you have a hang nail they are the first to tell you what to do that they don't practice. Folks that teach folks that really want them to succeed is different, many teachers love to teach because they appreciate the information they have learned & don't mind passing it along. But in religion it's a horse of a different color. No you are not wrong but I was just giving another side of teaching...again if you are right, if you can teach it you need to be very good at it...I would hope so, but not always the case...I can solve others problems, but my problems, I at times are too close to it to figure it..so I go around fixing other folks problems, 'cept my own.
