  Apostates, Hatred for the Org, leaving JWD

  yesterday i watched a thread grow so fast it was insane.

  that thread wasn?t about how bad the society was, it wasn?t about sex or drugs, it was what we thought could have been someone committing suicide, saying they had enough?life sucks and then....

  then today i read a second posting of someone who has done an exhaustive study on the postings found within jwd (actually only the tame ones that are from people leaning more pro org than against) and determined what a hate filled sack of pus this place is.

  Many of us left the WTBS because of the Lack of Love.

  Even though this forum gets pretty wild at times, at least it's a place when people can come and be honest about themselves and others without condemnation. I like that.

  The Phrase Jehovah's Witnesses use for people like Holly is "Sitting On The Fence" - My husband has another phrase "S..t" or Get off the Pot; I tend to agree with him in this situation.

  Ex JW's Meetup

  Once they get started, they're great. We have one here in Columbus every month at a local Restaurant. From this, we decided to get together in a less formal atmosphere. (Much like our old JW "get-togethers") Our network is growing.

  beginning in june through july, jehovah's witnesses will be hosting every weekend three-day conventions.

  over all, anywhere from 50,000 to 55,000 will be attending.

  this will mean $8.6 million for the city's economy.

  Bad news from my blood test :(

  the other day i went in for a routine physical and today i got the results in the mail.

  it turns out my cholesterol is out of wack and needs to be corrected.

  (normal) numbers in parenth are what my levels should be.. cholesterol = 249 ( < 200 ).

  I remember about five years ago when mine was a little high. That's all I talked about for weeks. Try to get a little more exercise and watch what you eat. (Yes, you've got to stop eating MacDonald's Fries every day)

  she and her family were at one time associated with the jws, except her husband.

  her sons left the org.

  i'm easy to influence, but once i'm back alone, i do what i wanted to do originally.

  I think the majority of posters on this forum are not easily influenced. That's an advantage. We're not JWs anymore.
