  the book study overseer hasn't asked why i won't come to the bookstudy, he gets .

  we arrived about 30 minutes after first symptoms.

  Glad to hear that you are ok!! Good for you and standing up for yourself. I hope you and your wife can have a frank discussion when things are more appropriate and perhaps she will come around. It was the last belief I let go of. If she was raised in the truth then it was drilled in her head from infancy and it takes a while to overcome that. Good Luck!!

  hi from spain!

  yesterday was one of the most important days in my life: i told my mom i didn't want to go to meetings anymore.

  That is a big step. Congratulations. It does hurt at first, but soon you will feel as if a huge weight has been lifted off your shoulders. It feels good to get it out in the open.

  Treat your mom as you always have. Show her it doesn't make you a different person and that you still love her.

  HELPING DANSK!

  i apologise for taking the liberty of using my alias to attract attention but a number of people have contacted me to ask what they could do to help by way of being a stem cell donor (without a stem cell donation soon i will likely die).

  i cannot express enough just how appreciative i am for such wonderful thoughtful gestures.

  it is possible that your stem cells are a perfect match for me and that you could literally save my life.. however, if you are not a match you could very well save someone else's life - so do please consider being a stem cell donor.

  I am confused Ian, call it ignorance. I am asking because you say you need blood not marrow. Does the Red Cross not have a huge supply of O positive blood they could get the cells from? Or do you have to donate differerently than the way a regular blood donation is done?

  my fathers arguement is always that the fds is not inspired so their humanity causes them to get things wrong.

  they are merely spirit directed.

  i realized a main flaw in this arguement last night.

  this is a life saving work these people are doing???

  i stood and watched as a group of jws got out of the ugliest square box of a four-door car in my neighborhood, split up into two pairs and proceeded to do what i have to assume were not at homes.

  the two women were walking up the driveway of the home next door to me which hasnt had anyone living in it for five years and i watched just for kicks to see how long it took them to traverse the 100 feet or so to the front door.

  it is my parents wedding anniversary saturday and every year since i left i have always sent them a card.

  i wondered whether i should or not this year.

  on balance i wasn't sure what would upset them more - waiting for a card that never came, or receiving a card at all, especially since i said in december that i wouldn't "bother" them anymore.. anyway it felt right to send a card so i did and i decided to put a little note inside, folded and bearing the message: "my news, but don't read it if you aren't interested".
