How many here (believers) believe in the Hell fire doctrine and why??

it's obvious the bible is very clear on a actual hell of fire.

"cursed into the eternal fire with the devil and his angels", rev.20:15.

"lake of fire", rev.21:8 "fire and brimstone".

What if Hell Is similar to the world in which we live right now? Just a thought..

In Relity I think that the Book of Revelation is the most Manipulated and unreliable book in the Bible, so mkst of what it says I don't take serious or at face Value.

Many people agree that Revation was written in Hebrew, but later Destroyed and Reaced by the Greek Versions.

with this in mind ita absurd to base your understanding of after life on 3-4 scriptures.

If you want to understand the lake of fire better, take. Look at the book of Enoch.

what happened to all of us?.

we got shit out the ass end of a kingdom hall wondering what the hell happened to us.. we started our journey as believer in the bible and got turned into a steaming pile of apostate crap.. how did it happen?.

we smelled delicious "food" and bit, chewed and swallowed .

The Bible does contain Mans words as opposed to Gods. This is not because God didn't inspire the Bible.

The Bible was written in Ancient Hebrew, which is a superior language tI any Language that exists today,including modern Hebrew.

So when Ancient Hebrew is translated over and over to the progressive Hebrew Forms, then it is Translayes to Greek & Then English it is destined to be flawed.

Add to that different Creeds translating to match their doctrine.. And you have a product that is Now Mans Word.

This doesn't matter though.. All that is needed for Salvation is found in the Lessons of the Sermon on the Mount.

We would be fine without the Bible all together,since truth is built into our Hearts , and Jesus Gave All MEN Life.

1.the organization itself denies access to reality and substitutes its own version, interpretations and meanings.. a.only watchtower approved publications are allowed.. b.no higher education is to be pursued.. c.no non-jw friends or associations are encouraged with their "outside" points of view.. d.no free-style questioning of doctrine or criticism permitted.

curiousity is verboten.. e.threat of being "marked" or disassociated looms over them.

2.between every real-world event and the rank and file jw's mind is a roadblock.. a.the moment of identifying is short-circuited by an interpretive moment of re-labeling in watchtower-speak.. b.all things happening are forced into a narrow storyline and propagandized as end times happenings leading to armageddon.. 3.social and personal identity is expunged and replaced by a collective persona: "jehovah's witness".. a.private thinking is red-flagged as selfish and sinful.. b.personal improvement, welfare and ambition is crushed and door-to-door ministry substituted as "worthy" endeavors.. c.self-conscious obsession permeates witness awareness as each person is transformed into a public spectacle of performance for judgement.. d.since you aren't an individual you don't really have a right to fall in love and marry or educate or earn.

Abraham Still Considered part of Great Crowd? Not being found worthy of Everlasting Life?

does anyone know of a wt or wt book, that states abraham will be tested again and then judged based on his deeds during the millenium?.

essentiallly claiming that, after god testing abraham, with the sacrifice of isaac, he will tell him that he has to pass the same test that the resurrcted unrighteous have to pass.

i know that this is a teaching that is required by holding to the 2 class belief, but i haven't found any artocles on it.. any ideas?.

so i used to think that all witnesses believed the same exact thing but i have heard some claims that they believe things i'm not familiar with.

do you know if it's true?

So, it ends up like this: Don't be a witness and hope armageddon doesn't come in your lifetime, or be a Witness and hope it does. Armageddon is basically the only time you're better off being a witness. They would have a hard time admitting it, but it is found in their doctrine."

Its so absurd that they teach that the great crowd, (who are said to have salvation in Revelation), will have a final test, at the end of the Millenium.

i saw two brothers this morning next to the main train station in liverpool city centre this morning.

they were not actively approaching anyone.

what i found strange was that they were from a cong that has different territory, so i don't know why they were there.. anyway i knew them both, and they know i was df'd, i was in my car and couldn't park up for a chat, but i did beep and wave to them as i drove passed and they waved back.

i saw two brothers this morning next to the main train station in liverpool city centre this morning.

they were not actively approaching anyone.

what i found strange was that they were from a cong that has different territory, so i don't know why they were there.. anyway i knew them both, and they know i was df'd, i was in my car and couldn't park up for a chat, but i did beep and wave to them as i drove passed and they waved back.

I'm in close proximity to a stand, once every Week.. No exaggeration, in 6 Months I have not seen ONE person approach the Stand or engage in conversation with the Publishers..

It's so bad that the 2-3 Publishers usually sit about 40 Feet Away from the stand under some shade trees, just talking and laughing..

Approaching them would at least break up their boredom.
