  yall remember back 10 or more years when the wt put out those articles about demons.......... and how in some african villiage they were extremely active........ they made some comment about a dogs head being twisted backwards and it looked like it grew that way or some such nonsense?

  that magazine scared the living sh** out of my sister.............. that is the reason that she got baptised............ they made out that the only protection you would have from demons like this was if you were baptised and only then could you call on jehovah to protect you.

  assholes using fear to get people to join up and then useing guilt to keep them there in line. guess thats proof that devils and demons are among us......... the wtbts is their leader

  Brothers in her Cong. question if my mum is "really" anionted!? Why?

  i don't get this...my mum pioneered for 25 years and in the last few years she at 69 is claiming to be anionted and taking emblems.....well you should see the back stabbing!

  some claim she isn't since she doesn't work at bethel or contribute to the litrature???

  it becomes a big debate, is she or not?

  lol you get so many crazies making that claim that it became easy to question any making that claim. its a claim that anyone can make and no one can disprove............ since they aint locked in once they become anointed..... they can fall away......... so therefor the gates open and close every few years........ hum........................

  so when did they start accepting people as annointed? when jesus died................ so how many of those 144,000 postitions were claimed and cashed in by the persons death before jf rutherford got his first hard on looking at pyramids.

  hell after the memorial.......... who else ate the emblems and drank the wine? in our hall in the back room it was all fair game....... and the sister who made our unleavened bread for decades........... she could cook........... it was damn good. wait................... that means ive partaken............ ALL MUST BOW TO ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  dallas has a gun for grocery gift card deal going on - hand over your gun and get a gift card.

  i see this as just the start...if the economy continues on a decline perhaps they will up the ante to make it look better.

  other mayors and cities are looking at doing the same thing - if as people have said, their clergy are in sync with the state governments in this issue - look for more churces to start gently pressuring their flock to conform.

  prayers be with him........ cause most all of us do realize how hard it is to leave family who are still in the cult. when your eyes are opened tho you really have no choice, you can lie and pretend to take part in their false religion (cult) or you can be who god wants you to be.

  its funny tho.... they will judge you as evil and apostate for not beliving in their bull anymore............... and your the same person living the same life. to me apostate means you have left something that is TRUE for something that is FALSE............. in this case we have left something that its False in our search for something TRUE.

  a brother asked me last week about the un situation.

  he said he had seen an email and he asked if the society had been a member of the u.n. before i used to hint that it was wrong, but it never got me anywhere, whoever i said that to would clam up or get angry with me.. so now i pretend to support the society.

  when that brother asked me i replied, "well, it doesnt matter though.

  I Asked Help of an Old JW Friend, He Refused to Reply - My E-mail to Him

  a few weeks ago i sent an e-mail to an old friend.

  he and i served for many years together as elders in the same congregation.

  he is still a jw, but he stepped down as an elder many years ago, went back to college (he began studying when he was in college and quit college to pioneer!

  i work in a sales office and sometimes when you make a call......... a legitimate call to someone that the company you work for asks you to they will just hang up on you assuming that your a 3rd party caller. I find that people handle that differently........ some just let it go and move on to the next call........... others however will call them right back and pretend they were disconnected...... still others will come right out and accuse the person of hanging up on them.

  how do people respond........ some get mad and hang up again.......... but most of them will be embarassed at being called on it, and you will get put through to who you need to speak to......... or at least there voice mail.

  same thing with that second email........... you called him on his shit............. maybe something will bounce around in his head and he will at least feel like the ass he was being.

  Did You Ever "Learn" Anything Because You Went To The Meetings?

  years ago, you could attend a meeting and hear a well researched talk or give an answer from the watchtower that had some "meat" on it.

  i remember in the 70s when witnesses used to look forward to ruminating on what might be a "new point" or a veiled possible new understanding of a doctrinal view.. these days, the only thing you could learn from a meeting is that brother so-and-so got deleted or "is no longer a witness".. what a bore!.

  i learned how to switch from position to position automaticly so as to appear awake........... only problem with that is if i started snoreing. how do you get around snoreing........ sit in the front row........... you know you will be the only one there......... everyone else will be at least two rows behind you so they might not hear.

  guilty of the daydreaming and i will admit to taking a book to the meeting and if you saw my brief case open and me looking at publications inside it for more than 10 minutes.......... yup thats what im doing......... untill i got caught then i had to always keep it closed except when getting someting out or putting something in it.............. foiled again damn it.
