If we forgive everyone who sins against us, does that not free us from sin?
by DavidChristopher ini mean, is that not like having a free pass to do as you please?
as long as you freely forgive, when people sin against you, then does that mean our father will forgive us 99 times when we sin against him?.
sure wouldn't be hard to convince people to obey that command would it?

by Spectrum inthis is a continuation of a discussion i've had with abaddon.
we were at loggerheads in the beginning but i'm coming round to his way of thinking to a certain extent.
i still haven't given up my belief in an intelligent creator but at the same time there is evidence for evolution which cannot be discounted.

I'm new here and have lots of questions
by jaada inhello, i am new to this board, i am not a jehovahs witness however i studied with them for years, i went out into service a couple of times, but i havent done anything in 4 years.
i am so confused.
i always have been scared of the last days thing, but i could never accept the fact that while i was in the meetings, my husband and parents were all at home and the witnesses would tell me that unless they changed and started coming to the meetings that they would be killed!

as i was never baptized you need to leave me alone.
baptized persons who have not associated for some time.

WTBTS has done there job to the fulliest!
by darth frosty inokay now i will give you time to pick your jaw up off the floor while i explain what i mean.
i now belive that religion is just one of the many forms of control that the powers that be (hereafter refered to as 'tha man') use to control people and keep them under foot.
we know how the current administration uses the religious right to keep the electorate in line, but i also believe the wts serves tha man in the same way.
