DF'ing and DA'ing procedural change in the horizon

If a version of this comes to be....

I think the broad DAing is just a formality so that Elders don't have to hunt people down (already many lazy Elders who don't anyway) and it will be just an assumption if someone is no longer attending.

Thus there will not be any official 'inactives'.

If a person returns they will have to do a "study".

They may be totally incompetent when it comes to chronology, but when it comes to "snooping", they are every bit as ambitious as the KGB ever was.

    Great observation!

If this change goes through, it affects people like myself....... who neither go in service nor go to meetings, it would mean they could DA me by default. I used to care. I no longer care what they do.

These are my feelings too, Snakes. I have been inactive for 2 1/2 years. I haven't taken the step to DA because of my mom. But if they feel that they can do this, without a written notice from us, then they can do whatever they want. I'll let them take the heat for it.

What many of us would like to know is: Where did this outline you just translated "ilowy" came from? I wish it is true, because it will take a burden off my shoulders. It will finally free me. So, please, let us know the source of your information.

My mother in law lives with me now, and even though she is not a hardcore witness, she likes to go every now and then. I know I will have a flow of people coming to my house to visit, and I've made my decision that if they do, and want to get me to go to the meetings, I will tell them point blank, I don't want to go and just limit their visits to her. That's when the sh!t will hit the fan.

So please, give us the source of the information and keep us informed.

    Cindi_67:

I believe that the poster who originally started this thread is no longer on the forum. To find out whether the outline was legitamate or not, we may have to dig around on other forums, or simply wait and see.

The source for the thread is highly questionable. But, the issue that is raises is not. Whether or not this rumor was accurate or not; I believe that policy changes along these lines are sure to come sooner or later.

Cindi, why would he reveal the source of his information? Neither you nor I are entitled to know his source. That would put his identity in jeopardy. And I believe he has already said that it is from an outline given by a CO to congregation elders.

The original poster needs to lay low right now........

Tejota on www.extj.com also received word about this......

My Spanish is limited to bordertown bar talk, Sesame Street & Dora....

(If you copy/paste the link to google search it will provide a translate option)

So we have two independent reportings so far.......

I say we wait and see....... until it is received by the COs or BOEs lots can change and be modified.

I didn't mean to imply that I wanted to know "WHO" it came from but 'WHERE'. And you just answered my question. I didn't read that part that came from a CO to elders. That is good for me. Thank you.
