They were destined to fail, they had no concept whatsoever of the implications of disobeying, exactly the same scenario in leaving a baby a bag of candy and telling him not to eat from it , the baby will disobey every single time, same with the fantasy of Adam and Eve

Where in the Bible does it say that Armageddon is a worldwide destruction of mankind?

Jesus not giving details is not the same as perpatrating a myth. Wouldn't implying something to be correct, such as perpatrating a myth, be dishonest? How could Jesus be dishonest?

Context, Jesus used their own words and examples to make his point, like anyone else woudl do.

It was not in THEIR interest to have their tiny perception of reality thrown on its head and Jesus knew this, just as we would know it if we were in his sandals.

We are talking about people that woudl stone someone for saying the wrong thing or working on the sabbath, we are talking about people that nailed a man to a cross for nothing else than preaching love, acceptance and tolerance.

How can you say this? The bible says that eve was decieved, but she was at least able to mentioned that God told her she would die.

Adam on the otherhand wasn't decieved. He just choose to die with his wife.

Adam and Eve's symbolic decision to be independant of God's love was their decision and no one elses.

As is our decision to remain independant of love.

Jesus had no problems being bold for truth, even when people wanted to kill him for this.

Jesus specificly references Noah entering the ark and a flood. What are you saying? That Noah, the ark, and the flood, did not exists? Or that only a global flood did not exist? If the later, I could see how that would not be decietful. But if Jesus knew that Noah was not real then this does seem to be deceitful.

However, if the flood wasn't global wouldn't that make what Jesus said about surviving the last days meaningless since the implication is that everyone would need to be ready to survive destruction.

I suppose it depends on which POV you subscribe.

JWs believe in premillennialism......but others don't.

In fact there are two types of premillennanialist POVs too

    1) Classic or sometimes called " Historic"

    2) Dispensational

Besides Revelation doesn't say Jehovah is going to kill 99.9 % of the population.

That is very true. In fact, I don't think that JWs currently teach only they will survive armeggedon, but only that the majority of mankind is not following the Bible, and as a result will not be pleasing to God. For those that don't have the opportunity to hear JWs in the preaching work, that is left up to God isn't it?

    Ezekiel 28:

That is the scripture I was thinking of when I said it implicitly says he rebelled.

The beginning verses speak of the king of Tyre actually exalting himself to be God, but that portion seems to be speaking solely to the king of Tyre.

It's been left up to God from the beginning.

JW's so-called preaching is but a gnat on the horn of a wild ox!
