Jehovah's Witnesses... bringing you a 100% failure rate on their Armageddon Prophecy for over 130 years.

SINS, why would you want to return to an organization that has this kind of failure rate?

    sayitsnoso,

If you've ever lived in a third world country or traveled the globe extensively with an open-mind and heart, it becomes obviously apparent that most of what you have been taught regarding the biblical history and pending destruction of mankind by any religion (JWs in particular) is either illogical and/or not the actions of a loving God.

Hoping that you find what you're looking for in this life,

Here's what I don't get about the JW teaching of Armageddon:

Current JW teaching is this: Anyone who dies prior to Armageddon gets an automatic resurrection and a chance to live the full 1000 years, to be tested again at the end by the "released" Satan. But anyone who dies at Armageddon, since it is a "judgment of God", has no hope of a resurrection.

OK, say Armageddon comes October 1, 2014.

On September 30, 2014, there will be thousands of persons who never heard of Jehovah who happen to die that die. Made it by a day! Whoosh-bang, resurection and a thousand years to learn to "love Jehovah".

On October 1, 2014, 7 billion + people die at Armageddon, including thousands who would have died anyway, even if God didn't pick that day to bring the big A. But since they died at God's hand, well sorry! No resurrection for you!

Where is the justice or the love in that?

Actually, according to JW teaching, it would be far more loving, and effective, for JWs to acquire weapons of mass destruction and kill as many people as possible before Armageddon comes, instead of wasting "1.5 billion hours per year" knocking on empty homes and peddling magazines that go immediately into the recycle bin as soon as the door closes.

Everybody who dies before Armageddon gets a resurrection, right? So if 7 million JWs can kill an average of 15 people each, that's 100+ million more people who get a free pass into the "new world".

How many thousands of years would JWs have to "preach this good news of the kingdom" before the number of JWs reached 100 million?

Jesus had no problems being bold for truth, even when people wanted to kill him for this.
Jesus specificly references Noah entering the ark and a flood. What are you saying? That Noah, the ark, and the flood, did not exists? Or that only a global flood did not exist? If the later, I could see how that would not be decietful. But if Jesus knew that Noah was not real then this does seem to be deceitful.
However, if the flood wasn't global wouldn't that make what Jesus said about surviving the last days meaningless since the implication is that everyone would need to be ready to survive destruction.

The flood was NOT global, this we KNOW and since we know that we assuem that Jesus knew that to, right?

So we know how to reconcile this with what Jesus said.

That is very true. In fact, I don't think that JWs currently teach only they will survive armeggedon, but only that the majority of mankind is not following the Bible. For those that don't have the opportunity to hear JWs in the preaching work, that is left up to God isn't it?

Actually we do teach that and have for YEARS........ ]

By means of the preaching and disciple-making work, the anointed class puts a symbolic mark on those who become part of Christ’s “other sheep.” (John 10:16) What is the mark? It is the evidence, as if displayed on their uncovered foreheads, that such sheep are dedicated, baptized disciples of Jesus Christ and that they have put on the Christlike new personality. (Eph. 4:20-24) These sheeplike ones become one flock with anointed Christians and assist them in their vital work of marking still others.—Rev. 22:17.

    *** w01 5/15 p. 14 ‘Behold! The Great Crowd!’ ***
In the year 1931, Vindication, Book One, discussed Ezekiel chapter 9 and identified those marked on the forehead for preservation at the world’s end as the sheep of Jesus’ parable. Vindication, Book Three (published in 1932), described the upright heart attitude of the non-Israelite man Jehonadab, who got into the chariot of Israel’s anointed King Jehu and went along to see Jehu’s zeal in executing false worshipers. (2 Kings 10:15-28) The book said: “Jehonadab represented or foreshadowed that class of people now on the earth [who] are out of harmony with Satan’s organization, who take their stand on the side of righteousness, and are the ones whom the Lord will preserve during the time of Armageddon, take them through that trouble, and give them everlasting life on the earth. These constitute the ‘sheep’ class.”
In 1934, The Watchtower made it clear that Christians with an earthly hope should make a dedication to Jehovah and be baptized. The light regarding this earthly class was indeed shining ever more brightly!—Proverbs 4:18.

    _____________

That said......you are also not factoring in the many who die during the tribulation......

Don't all Christian professing denominations claim to be following the Bible?

JWs teach that those who die before hearing the JW message will be resurrected with a chance to hear and accept that message. They teach those who die after hearing and rejecting the message will not be brought back. Those who are around at armageddon who have not accepted the message will be destroyed by God, according to the WT.

"Only Jehovah's Witnesses, those of the anointed remnant and the "great crowd," as a united organization under the protection of the Supreme Organizer, have any Scriptural hope of surviving the impending end of this doomed system dominated by Satan the Devil." Watchtower 1989 Sep. 1 p.19

"Similarly, Jehovah is using only one organization today to accomplish his will. To receive everlasting life in the earthly Paradise we must identify that organization and serve God as part of it." Watchtower 1983 Feb. 15 p.12

"There are billions of people who do not know Jehovah. Many of them in ignorance practice things that God's Word shows to be wicked. If they persist in this course, they will be among those who perish during the great tribulation." Watchtower 1991 Oct. 1 p.9

Interesting how easy it is to find WT quotes that make it plain that the JW doctrine states that you have to be part of the JW/WT organization to survive Armaggedon yet when you ask a JW if this is the case, they will deny it.

    Why?

Because it goes against the grain to believe that God will destroy everyone outside of the little JW club. Children, babies, those who never heard the name "Jehovah" or saw a Bible...all destroyed, just by being in the wrong place at the wrong time. It's the ultimate in unjust treatment...particularly from a God who is supposed to be the ultimate in justice and fairness.
