Some thoughts on unions

I guess the bigger question is...why should they?

Why should they be entitled to a living wage? Because that's how it works now. We don't farm, trade, and barter individually anymore. Some of us still do. Almost everything we need requires an exchange of money; water, electricity, food, housing, clothing, etc. For most of us the only option is to be employed by a company, where we're paid for our time and producing/doing something for the benefit of that company. Now, if that's your only option but no one will pay you enough to cover your needs, what happens? It's a right. We can't live now without money. Maybe you're thinking of min wage as opposed to living wage. I'm not, all I'm saying is workers should be paid a fair amount for their time and what they do for the company. Maybe you're suggesting we go back to pre-union days, when companies could pay whatever the hell they wanted. That's not a good mix with capitalism.

    Sam Whiskey:

"I'm an executive who has to travel to South America and the Caribbean frequently (I hear I'm going to be travelling to Italy soon too). I'm on a management team responsible for the productivity of 8,000 people."

Another piece of the puzzle falls into place.

DanaBug, JRK. I'm seriously convinced he's a psychopath in the clinical sense of the word. That's no hyperbole. I also think he's not even telling us a fraction of what he believes.

    Goodnight ya'all.

Is Sam really Andre? His stories in the WT literature has alway been so upbuilding!

That story seems a little stinky. I am personally on my way to Nice, about to sample some wonderful chesses, that smell somewhat like Sam's story.

Jehovah has blessed him, and so have Glenn Beck and the Republicans.

Rather than be a whiner and wonder why I can't have a Ferrari....

Dude! It's not whining about Ferraris! If you think that, you are seriously out of touch with what's going on right now and the situation so many Americans are in.

I was bullshitting about Nice; just a parody. Wouldn't mind going though. Anybody want to pick up my airfare? Maybe Glenn or Sam? I am too busy trying to build a 401k.

I'd love to tell you who I am and what I do but I cannot. I'm part of a management team in a company of about 120,000 employees. Annual sales Revenue is $20Bil. U.S.D. per year. That's it, not gonna say no mo...

    Villa,

I don't know if he's a psychopath, I think he's not really aware of what it's like down here in the lower class.

Yeah, it's time for bed for me too. Until next time, sweet dreams y'all!

    Sam,

What education did you acquire to get this wonderful job that has you jet setting around the globe? I bet you are just mastubating somewhere in the Midwest: unemployed, and fantasizing about Glenn Beck naked. No, I do not want to see the video!

More fantasies as a greeter at Wally World!
