Ohio Cowboy, sorry for your loss a year ago I had 4 cocker spaniels they were all 10 years old.
I lost two of them within 6 months.
Its the worse thing to ever happen in my life, worse than when my father died.
And I have two more that will die in the future.
My personal belief is when I die I will be reunited with my loved ones. I dont need an organized religion to approve or dissapprove
my personal beliefs. People cant agree on anything.
I knew when I got my dogs they would die and break my heart.
I also know that this is a world of loss and sooner or latter we loose everything we love.
If you want to be a survivor you have to step over the bodies.
Find another dog to love, youll be doing yourself and the dog a favor. You will love the dog and the dog
will love you. When your taking care of your new dog you wont have as much time to mourn your dog who died.
You will never forget your lost dog. But you will have a purpose and meaning in taking care of your new dog.
THe new dog will fill your heart with love and keep it from breaking.
You cant have joy with out having pain and loss, Thats life.
And as far as I can tell the only way God will help you is if you ask him for the strength to live another day.
Live one day at a time.
In this world everything dies, dogs only life 7 to 15 years.
I do my best to enjoy this life fully and tell myself when I die I will be reunited with my loved ones in a better life.
We become what we think about and the things we think about end up happening.
If you allow yourself to die of a broken heart there will be other dogs who need your love who will die also. Everybody looses.
