Tomorrow. The Lord knows where we are going. Some, like Shelby, Tammy and myself do not want to go. We will not go. You will go, because you can not see.

I am assuming you mean your question and it is not rherorical

What do you mean, what do I mean?

About money and the lack of it for most people?

man, what he believes, and who he believes in, has changed, yes. The Most Holy One of Israel has not. He really IS the same... yesterday... today... and tomorrow.

That's part of the point. The God who encouraged the genocide and rape of people who didn't worship Him is found to be standing by while the 2004 tsunami kills innocent Indonesian children who don't happen to know Him. Meanwhile, worshippers bend over backwards to excuse His indifference to outsiders just as they did in ancient times.

He hasn't changed one bit since His creation in the Old Testament. AGuest has even threatened me in the past with not being able to hold back His wrath for what I type on this obscure web forum- as if she is some kind of Moses or Abraham. If it'll save African and Asian children from His wrath, bring it here. He is the same tyrant that He was when the Hebrews dreamed him up.

Are you saying I'm going to hell tomorrow because I love money or because I have ocular impediments or because there are poor people or were you saying that I'm going somewhere in the future where your stated group don't want to go ...nope sorry still lost.

Tec that would be a really good topic - why is their something rather than nothing or how can something come from nothing.

OTWO can you please give evidence for your stand that the deaths in the Old Testament were not for saving this god damn world? And that nobody had to die, but they chose that way? Like you are choosing that way? Please explain your POV, but take away the insult.

Q - I asked the people who think God is doing such a bad job, what they think he should do instead.

I also asked if people would mind having their free will taken away (also their children, so that they don't teach their children wrong things).

OTWO - God is as Christ showed him to be. Hence, Christ is the truth. If you have seen Christ, then you have seen the Father. So if God is the same today, yesterday, and tomorrow.... then it is the things written in the past that are false, if they show God to be something other than what Christ showed him to be. That is the truth.

    Peace,

    Tammy

Do you think? Well if you start it, I'll come over to it. Just not today. I'm off to work now, and probably won't get back on tonight. Have fun,

    Peace,

    Tammy

OOPS. My worst senario is brains have become something like swiss cheese.

They say it is faith in the spirit that causes certain people that could have helped the world be a better place, but because of their love of their god, they did not do that which would (choose one) feed all the hungry, prevent building falling down in a quake, cure cancer and every other disease, provide an education for all, prevent illegal traffiking of people, why can't I think of any more? My point being it is much more a lack of funds that prevents some things than faith in God.

Some people have the problem of seeing only theirself in the equation. There are 6 billion, not counting them who are dead. Can you widen out a little bit Q?

I don't get your point at all. Even if I did, I have no "evidence" that deaths in the OT were for or against something. I just know what the OT says about how God encouraged and even ordered such deaths and rapes. And I am not about digging up quotes for you.

My last post here only insulted the God of the Bible. Don't worry. I won't be struck by lightning for saying it. How the hell can you discuss that God without calling him a tyrant?

Ah okay - does it need to involve taking away free will?

What could a loving god do?

    • Immediately reinstate a garden of Eden where mankind no longer needed to work for food thus eliminating food resource conflicts and death from starvation.
    • Explain why he wants to be worshipped and assuming he does explain exactly what to do, written down unambiguously in all languages and delivered to all.
    • Open everyone's eyes to hidden things like angels and demons allowing them to be observed and understood by all.
    • Clearly establish what religious behaviours, doctrines and dogmas were correct and why they are correct. Explain fully what the consequences, if any, that exist for doing worship in other ways.
    • Heal all child / spouse abusers. No one needs that.
    • Introduce miracle medicine so that illness or accident can be solved rapidly and with the minimum of suffering.
    • Remove pain at childbirth.
    • Remove all pain that is not directly necessary to inform the body of damage. This would include all aspects of phantom pain or excessive pain felt by those especially attuned to it.
    • Give scientists the unifying theory that ties everything together.
    • Cure all mental conditions so that everyone can actually make free will choices and enjoy a fullness of consciousness.
    • Remove depression and headaches. Both useless.
    • Redesign the human body so that it doesn't age , put on excess weight ( after all if I drink too much water my body will happily remove it) or break so easily. While he is at it he could move the breathing tube from the food tube and stop choking.
    • Remove the need for sleep since this is quite a useless trait and this would free up a lot of rooms.
    • Apologise for all the wasted lives, deaths and pain he's caused and also for presenting such a garbled message.
    • Immediately stop all earthquakes, natural disasters and extreme weather events.
    • Remove from all people's memories Star Wars 1-3

You do not understand that some deaths can prevent many more deaths and suffering? And even the end of the human race? We know warfare at it's near appex. "there is nothing they have n mind that they can not do". Selfrighteousness can lead to destruction. The evil one knows it is God's will that man remain forever, that is what the force is, total destruction. 100 years ago, it was not possilbe. It is possible.
