Why do people pretend good things about Jesus ?

It only interests me because it serves as a perfect reasoning for why you are trash and I am godly.

Ah, so you are looking for reasons to call me trash. A godly person would never do that. Your own effort to show yourself godly shows how godly you aren't. Oh the irony.

The comparison can be seen in how many times you mention your penis on this forum.

It's fun to see how often I can get you to talk about it.

Like I said, trash like you needs to be taken out.

Did you think of that all by yourself?

If you are open enough to talk about your junk all the time then answer the question.

Ha ha! You mentioned my penis again. You're the gift that keeps on giving man. Fish in a freakin barrel.

    EP AND SAB, LISTEN UP!!!

EP, stay on your side of the back seat, and quit poking at Sab. Sab, quit being such a whiny baby, and simply ignore your brother: he's just trying to get your goad... Don't give him a response, and it will disappear.

If I have to talk to both of you again, don't think for one minute that I won't just turn this thread around and head back to page one and leave you BOTH back there!!

    James is right.

No ferraris for any of you!

Rather than go point for point with you, EP (because the point seems to get lost under minutia when you and I do this), I will simply state that the accounts make no mention of Christ as having slaves.

But the accounts DO make mention of various people doing things for him. Host/hostesses of houses he ate or slept at. Disciples (male and female); apostles and followers. Never mention of any servent or slave. He forced no one into any of this, and if he had had a slave (or servent), it would have been because someone chose to BE his slave, out of love for Him and God. (which really would have amounted to the same as a loyal friend/servent/disciple, etc... again out of love) The golden rule (that he lived and taught) precludes that He would enslave anyone. Now you can go ahead and think what you will (though I think you're just arguing for the sake of it, and not because you really think it); but love for God and others (as Christ lived and taught) does not enslave one's fellow man. Without proof of something that is contrary to His nature, then it 'all bark and no bite'.

Why would you say something like this?

Of course not. Which makes it moral to take food from a NON Jewish family. *shakes head amused*

My words were in response to EP suggesting that Christ took food out of their mouths... assuming that these were a Jewish people.

If not 'Israel', then it is a good point for mP to consider, in his accusations of a racist Jesus.

Soooo, God is omnipotent, with Him all things are possible, there is nothing He cannot do.* (referring to not keeping writings infallable/inerrant)

Sol, you assume that he cared about doing that in the first place.

Perhaps freedom (granting people the ability to act as they choose) is what he will not violate. Because He knows where that would lead, even if you seem not to?

What reason could anyone possibly have for keeping pigs? They don't give milk, or eggs. Why would anyone raise them? Food. Unless there is some reason I am unaware of. So if you are saying it didn't matter that Jesus would kill the pigs because Jews didn't eat pork---then perhaps it was racist, since others did eat pork.

This is the same point I have repeatedly made. The answer is always the same---he didn't have slaves etc. But there was the custom of keeping slaves, and I guess it was not important enough to mention.
