I just saw the video by Mana 11 of moderate muslims thank you.

To call these people extemists or radicals is far too kind. When captain Cook travelled the globe he referred to the noble savage and I would be very reluctant to refer to these people as noble.

The only words I could use for these people evil barbarians and to give these people freedom of speach in our society is giving them far too much and a wast of time. Before we engage with anyone at all they must reach a certain level of civilised behaviour and they should have a certain degree of respect because I could imagine these people would also want to kill anyone not of their pitiful religion. I will tell you the type of people that post on this thread but I can only speak for myself.

I am the type that is accepting of other cultures and have a general interest in people from other parts of the world. My tolerance stops when I am told I don't deserve to live because I am the wrong religion. This had happened to me once and if it happens to me again that person will be charged with offensive speech and will be required to pay a hefty compensation. We have in Australia under the racial discrimination act ammendment 18c which is very easy to prosecute . 18c has been used against freedom of speech just don't tell anyone what I said in th epost above cause it could work against me Barry

The video is a scam. Sorry I am afraid you are far too naive, this was not an example of most loving Muslims, this was a pre recorded example of radical beliefs, there were no women there. This is not typical Islam at all, this is though an example of how easily Muslims can be manipulated by their leaders.

I am shocked that non-Muslims would watch this and believe it. All the Muslims in this video that put their hands up were extremist, there was a couple that didn't fall for it and did not raise their hands.

Most Muslims would be shocked by this video.

Kate, I am sure everyone on this tread would like to believe you and I would too. There is nothing that touches me more than the ability for humans to just be able to get along especially when they have been at logerheads with each other.

The reason that I would believe this video is that I have met muslims that say they are moderate and they also believe such nonsense.

Kate how many muslims have you met and have spent considerable time with to investigate their true feelings . I had a friend a moderate muslim that has a saying about sharia and how it is implimented is Saudi arabia. He called it chopping for God . He also said he is very good with women and that he had lots of practice being gental throwing bombs. I took that as just a joke Barry

Mana's video is from an unreliable source and it was obviously done as a search to confirm bias. When I did a search to find out what UK Muslims beliefs and practices were I found no such radical information. The BBC did a report from Damascus and outlined the impotant beliefs. Watch the video and see if you can find punishment as a priority?

Mana I find you willfully ignorant to most Muslim beliefs and actively trying to put most Muslims in a bad light when in fact their practices have nothing to do with punishment and killing. Most Muslims want to provide for their families and live a peaceful life, they are trapped in a controlling religion, but many seem to avoid the harsh practices, it's the second largest religion in the UK, over 2.5 million Muslims live in the UK and most of them don't have violent practices. Some do and they are extremist and fanatics, who are prosecuted by the police if they break British laws.

More than I can count. Most of the men I have met run their own businesses and struggle to make ends meet and provide for their families, sometimes the women work in the shops too. They don't beat their wifes. Most women I have met felt somwhat trapped in a sexist religion but were not beaten. All of the Muslims I have met spoke to me about following Mohammed and practicing a peaceful religion. I even read the Koran with one Muslim girl I worked with.
