Mohamad being the prime example in Islam of what to follow gives permission to marry child brides. The aotolla of Iran married a 7 year old girl and justified it because the prophet also married a young girl. There have been child brides even here in Australia recently a 12 yo girl married to a muslim in there twenties also young muslim girls have been stopped at the airport because of forced marrages to men overseas sometimes to relatives

Islamic State seeks to justify enslaving Yazidi women and girls in Iraq

In an article in its English-language online magazine Dabiq, the group provides what it says is religious justification for the enslavement of defeated "idolators".

The ancient custom of enslavement had fallen out of use because of deviation from true Islam, but was revived when fighters overran Yazidi villages in Iraq's Sinjar region.

"This large-scale enslavement of mushrik (idolator) families is probably the first since the abandonment of Shariah law," it said.

The Dabiq article said fighters were reviving a practice of the companions of the Prophet Mohammad by enslaving enemies. Enslaving women and forcing them to become wives reduces sin by protecting men from being tempted into adultery, it said.

"One should remember that enslaving the families of the (non-believers) and taking their women as concubines is a firmly established aspect of the Shariah, that if one were to deny or mock, he would be denying or mocking the verses of the Quran and the narrations of the Prophet," the article said.

While I like the spirit behind this, I can't say if it's a good idea or not. The more gangs get involved in the ISIS fight, I can see more gang violence against innocent Muslims in the gang's home country. A few gang members get killed, then some gang members back home want revenge against "Muslims".

@AlphaMan - that cannot be a good idea.

The authorities must fight, and crush, ISIS and their enablers.

The armed forces must fight ISIS in Syria/Iraq, 'with extreme prejudice'.

In the West, the (armed) police forces must stop them, with lethal force if necessary.

Civilians should win the battle of ideas.

To be clear, the headline is a little misleading:

The Dutch public prosecutor said on Tuesday that motorbike gang members who have reportedly joined Kurds battling the Islamic State group in Iraq are not necessarily committing any crime.

It's not like they are running down muslims in the streets of Amsterdam - these are people who have gone to Iraq to fight with the Kurds.

This may be deemed 'off topic', and I'll only mention it once. It's something that annoys the hell out of me, though.

Wondering if that child-bride vid was taken in Saudi Arabia ......... who always gets left out of these discussions, and never gets blamed for any of the world's woes.

I have to wonder, in all these discussions, why the SAUDI government is never condemned. We condemned the Taliban, Osama bin Laden, Muslims everywhere, but NEVER the Saudis ......... great oil barons who are friends of the west. *cough cough* ........ Umm, Saudi Arabia, friend to America and Britain, has SHARIA LAW.

Speaking of extremists .................. why is there no outcry about this malevolent, sick country of SAUDI ARABIA?

Yes.....I understand that part. I just hope it doesn't lead to gang violence against Muslims back in the Netherlands, or anywhere else where citizens are leaving to go fight against ISIS.

Judging from what I've read about Kobani, the Peshmerga are outnumbered and and outgunned, but ISIS have not taken the whole town yet.

However, if things carry on as they're going, a massacre looks likely. Maybe these biker gangs could help out in Kobani?

Kobani needs all the help it can get.
