If the thread is discussing only Islam then why did you mention other countries? ( U.S.S.R, China, N. Korea)
You mention other countries and its ok. I do it and you accuse me of doing something wrong.

However, the British empire doesn't exist anymore and therefore cannot hurt anybody.
ISIS, on the other hand, have hurt lots of people these past few months, are possibly hurting people as we speak and will probably continue to hurt people for the next few years. This is the problem and a solution must be found.

I read it Slowly, you mentioned the human race. Yes
However you SPECIFICALLY mentioned natiosn that are outright enemies to Europe by name as being countries that dominate. You did not mention the worst offenders by name which would be EUROPE. I am not saying you did this intentionally or subconsciously. however you making sure you named certain groups and not others is somewhat telling.
You mention other countries and its ok, I do it and it's not....
Also " Islam and Muslims make us all nervous these days. " They do not make me nervous and I am sure they do not make a large portion of the population nervous. EXTREME MUSLIM and ISLAMISTS make people nervous. If you are scared of all Muslims then you need to ask yourself why.
If you saw a muslim walking down the street you would be nervous? I really want you to answer that. I am not trying to be argumentative I just want to understand.

The British Empire is not as large as it once was. However still breeds so much corruption in the world and promotes violence through out the world. Not unlike most other countries. However they have more money and leverage than many countries so it is far more damaging

Other posters on this thread have agreed that acting against muslims simply for being muslim is proposterous and wrong,
It is good to see that you and some others feel that way. Thank goodness! But confusedandalone has been arguing with those that do not feel that way!
It is easy to see on every single page of this thread a large number of people agree with Simon's OP and the title of this thread that 'Islam is a disease.' Simon suggested making Islam illegal in the United States of America. Others said all Muslims should be forced to leave the country. These people said that it is not radical Islam that is the the problem, it is ALL of Islam, and many called for all of Islam must be stamped out. That is the point of the thread! And that makes perfect sense because if you believe that "Islam is a disease" then why wouldn't you be in favor of acting against anyone who is Islamic?
These are the proposterous and dangerous ideas confusedandalone and others, including myself, have been arguing against.
Every single person on the thread agrees that radical Islam and Islamic terrorists must be stopped!

We should all be free to not have other people's religious ideas imposed on us. If you think you have the right to impose your religious ideas on other people you are an extremist. If you don't wish to impose your religious ideas on other people then you should be free to practice your religion. This should apply to all religion.

Shine the spotlight on the RADICAL Christian community who are actually calling for killing abortion doctors based on their twisted interpretation of the Bible. There is no point in trying to stop abortion clinic bombings by shining a spotlight on ALL Christianity since 99.9999% of Christians DO NOT believe in bombing abortion clinics and DO NOT believe the Bible calls for such action and DO believe the Bible condemns such action.
