Oklahoma beheading - Islam is a disease

VIOLIA- Well- Alright , perhaps right now fundamentalist Christians aren't beheading anybody- to my knowledge- however- the governor of Colorado back in 1864 who WAS an alleged " Christian " a pastor of a church I believe - he and his militia did massacre over 200 Cheyenne Indians for just existing with no provocation from them. And it was just this " Christian " and his militia who paraded around on the streets of Denver cut off, mutilated genitals of men, women, and children- even wearing those genitalia on their hats with pride. So take your pick - wanna be beheaded or have your sex organs cut off ? Tough choice.

The fact that " We " or Christians aren't beheading anybody now- doesn't mean that we can forget the past like it didn't happen ! Isn't that what the WT Society does ? Forget the past as if it's not important ? I agree with you- the middle east sucks with all the rapes, beheadings, stonings for adultery, etc. but just think of how violent religious fundamentalists have gotten in the good old U.S.A. towards abortion clinics and the treatment of homosexuals ? The harassment and alienation towards these people from citizens who claim to worship a " God " is just as hypocritical as crashing planes into towers doing it in the name of Allah or whatever. Whenever ANYBODY takes a religion, country, and uses it to oppress or be violent physically or psychologically towards other humans- it turns them into a hypocrite claiming to stand for a supreme power but making excuses and alibis to support like people in this abuse- whether that be Christian or Muslim. Fundys won't kill you physically- but psychologically many people are controlled and manipulated by religious fanaticism and suffer because of it

Nuclear weapons should only ever be a threat, why should innocent people suffer?

    They are not cold-war Russia!

(although they had the sense not to use nukes - I'm not sure ISIS have that)

Re: the beheading - when it is done as described it is not punishment for a crime, it is people revelling in evil.

We are rightly concerned when executions aren't conducted properly and an evil person has a drawn out and painful death as has happened recently with the lethal injections.

We insist on a quick, clean death because we are cvilised and whatever your views on capital punishment it's done for justice and not petty retribution. Even if someone has to die, it doesn't mean someone has the right to make them suffer.

Innocent? They're Muslim aren't they? Would you trust the Islamic Republic of Iran with a handful of nukes? How about Egypt or Assad's Syria? It's not just entities such as ISIS that the world at large should worry about.

It's a good thing you're not in charge sooner, nuking any country is a terrible idea. There are better ways, we need to de-legitamize their ideology(by unrelenting questioning and ridicule) and keep making sure the blessing they are looking for as a sign from Allah , like the removal of Israel from the Middle East never happens.

For all the negative propaganda, nation states like Iran are not stupid and are not going to start setting of Nukes, even if they had them. Yes, even a state that has had a revolution is nowhere close to being as 'outside the box' as rogue groups. People who already have power are never going to throw it away. ISIS are a bunch of zealot morons who think maximum casualties = maximum succes - I would be very nervous if they got nukes.

Anyway, CNN is on the case now trying to figure out if someone beheading someone else after posting on their facebook page that they did it for Islam does actually constitute terorism or not. This is the problem with the west - too many experts and people wanting to sell a book at some point instead of talking basic common sense.

    Whatever happened to that plane?

When did common sense die? CNN is almost as big a joke as MSNBC.

I watch Fox and also watch CNN. I find Fox to be very fair . Thank goodness they reported on the Benghazi attack and cover up b/c no one else in Main stream media was.

@Laika - so you've chosen not to answer my question. I'm not surprised.

What does surprise me, however, is that you have completely misunderstood the nature of the entire West vs Islamism conflict.

There is no suggestion that the West should abandon its values. Rather it must fight for them.

So just so we are clear here and I am hoping that people actually respond to this.

You think the United States Government should make it a crime punishable by deportation or jail if you are a part of Islam.

    Can someone please answer this
