Maximus.....TY for the updated status of Pellechia. And so true, spewing the corporate line does not always jibe with personal feelings.
Boozy
Vince Tool was a great CO as far as speaking was concerned. His talks were well prepared and usually filled with a great deal of research. Unfortunately he seemed from my point of view to lack compassion.
The Society later put him through university and he was assigned to the legal department. That was the last I ever heard of him.

Do you know me?

Does anyone here remember Jerry Murray and his wife? Very warm people, the children just loved Jerry.
How about Neal (Neil?) Thompson of Danish decent? Very fiery personality had this thing about mustaches and people owning guns. He's been off the road now for a while because of advancing age.
BTW we had Scaglione. Gave great talks and the little contact I had with him was quite pleasant. I remember a Brandt (could have been Eugene, not sure) DO at the time and very cold and pompous.
I liked Phil Hayworth. I think I still have a couple of tapes of his talks somewhere.
Joe Lewinsky was another CO I liked.
There are a couple of others, but their I can't remember their names at the moment.
My favourite DO was John Cutforth

Andy Cole was the most fun CO I have ever worked with. He stayed with my family and every night we'd play basketball together. Him always in his slacks, and dress shoes. He was a young, single guy, around 35 maybe. I was young then, 12 or so. He made quite a good impression on me during some rough times.
Looking (Still)
A couple of CO's mentioned, I had forgotten until reading different posts.
1) Carey Barber-what a trip to work with out in service. He would almost get into fights with householders. One woman screamed as slamming the door, "I'm Catholic" of which CB replied, "I feel sorry for you"
2) Peter Lett - he got into trouble or something for practicing medicine without a license, so I heard.
3) Erskin - I actually liked him-he treated the lowly rank and file with kindness
4) Moske-only liked the pioneers and elders, good speaker
5) Benner-ooh, ooh, ooh! Did not care for him at all. From reading another post about him, I understand he was responsible for having Ray Franz df'd
6) Don Wallace-funny guy!
7) Brother Sealy - fire and brimstone kind of guy-really sweet wife
8) Sinutko (sp) - excellent speaker
Farkel,
You mentioned Bro. Erskine....I remember a Brother Erskine here in central Florida but I was only a child...around 7 or 8 at the time...I'm wondering if it's possible it's the same guy....I rather liked him but of course I wasn't all that discerning back then...
OrangeBlossom...thanks for the names...I couldn't remember any of them! But your post recalled them to mind and it was Bro. Sealy I was thinking of in my earlier post when I mentioned the CO who put fear into the elders. I had forgotten about Don Wallace...I think I took him and his wife to lunch once when I was a teen aux. pioneer....nice folks. I was so incredibly nervous and they were so kind...
Yes, Peter Lett was arrested in Orlando and the charge was as you said...however, I never heard the outcome of the case. I always thought that he was a little bitter about having given up his life for circuit work...he had to leave the work because of health problems...I heard rumors about it being JWs who got him into trouble and that the charges were false, but I don't know how much of that is true. Anyway, it wouldn't surprise me if he is no longer a dub...does anyone know?
About Moske...the name is familiar but I can't quite place him...was he a big guy? Kind of loud?

Dana, aka, safe4kids,
Are you from Orlando?
