Maybe I should just write them a letter now and let them know so that I don't have to talk to them on the phone or at my door. LOL

They will ask, "Do you still want to be a Jehovah's Witness?" If the person does not, they will simply be announced as no longer being one of Jehovah's Witnesses.......Any comments??
It must be nearly the end of this ol' system because Joe Hoba's cleansing the congregation and removing all the scummy dross who are grieving the holey spear it. -

I like dan's response. I person could still use it w the 'yes' in front. Then it would read, 'Yes, but i see you still want to be an asshole'. Hee hee.

its a no win situ for the non attender
to answer yes means you accept the authority of the elders and then they will say well we need to take action
to answer no they will say well we'll just announce that then

My response will be, if they can actually get to talk to me, is, "I have nothing to say to you."

Why do you think they are taking such a hardline stance? Once faded do they think that person will access the internet to find out the real reasons JW's aren't Jahs people? So by cutting them off as apostates the damage can be mitigated? Thoughts?

equals formula for disassociation.

They would rather have a small hardcore minority to rebuild than a lot of wishy-washy "members" that might (will) bring down the others.

What would be some good responses...?
I might say.... Or what?
Or.... Are you?
You gonna clean up the mess you guys made first... before we answer such rediculous questions.
Or... I think "God" knows the truth let's show some faith and leave it at that ...mmmmkay?

Saying nothing shouldn't = disassociation.
