"Do you still want to be a Jehovah's Witness?"

Hey, Dope on my doorstep. I never wanted to be one in the first place! Piss off!!

"So, the separating work is just something going on in your mind isn't it?"

I'll give them a direct answer next time after they've had some time to think that over.

So - be aware that if you get a phone call... there's always 'two' of 'em there.

Its hard to believe they would be so sneaky about the whole deal.

    Tor:

You gotta believe it! It's 'standard practice' for them - i,e, to be underhand like that. Even in a country like Australia where there are strict laws about the use of phones, they wouldn't be persuaded to mend their ways.

Their belief that they have the truth allows them to get away with anything. Accountability is demanded of others. Excuses for their spiritual corruption goes further than their supposed service to Jehovah. They need to concentrate on themselves and ask that question to themselves everyday. Hypocrites!

Theocratic strategy can be employed on both sides.

Hi guys, I had an elder/po stop by the house a couple of times by himself. I wonder if he had a tape recorder on him. I said some things to him only that could be damning I suppose, should he have recorded it. Tor

Why do you think they are taking such a hardline stance? Once faded do they think that person will access the internet to find out the real reasons JW's aren't Jahs people? So by cutting them off as apostates the damage can be mitigated? Thoughts?

EF thats exactly right...they tried to force out franz on the same basis; their tactics do not change... Personally if I am asked I will say that its between me and my creator; and if they dare announce anything as a result of this conversation I would need to see a copy of what they plan to announce with full details as to the directions they offer to the congregation as a result of this announcement; this will be followed with a stern word suggesting that if this causes members of their congregation globally to view me in disparaged way or to shun me then I will consider instructing my Solicitors in an action against the elders collectively and individually for defamation. It doesnt stand a chance legally but it would be enough to scare them no doubt. DB74

You said this is based on the new book. I have not found any section in the new Organization-Book that would lead to such action. Do you have a quote?

I think any response other than I have no comment and you will be DF/DA. I like the response, "I have no comment because it is between me and Jehovah." This must be some legal strategy concocted by JR Brown (noser) in response to all the faders. The borg wants to control all information flow and with too many faders and the internet they are not able to control the information like the good old days before the internet. I feel this will be their undoing. Sure they will keep all the hard line jdubs in check but there are a lot of fringe dubs that this policy will push them the other way.

Glad to know Jehobah is such a loving God....
