by liam ini didn’t get the covid vaccine, but i admit, i was scared as shit i made the wrong decision because there was so much confusion out there.
practically all my family and most of my friends took the vaccine because everyone was depending on those in charge to speak the truth.
now a lot of them are sick, and they can't figure out why.

Bethelites dressing up for Halloween
by neat blue dog inthink about it: they had to go out and buy halloween paraphernalia, then apply makeup & costumes to dress the 'brothers & sisters' up as vampires, witches, mummies etc.
and you know they were probably joking around the whole time.
what a bunch of hypocrites, the last gen gb would be turning in their graves to see such a photoshoot at the 'house of god' 😆.

by neat blue dog inhe will not pressure her to engage in sexual acts that make her feel uncomfortable, that are demeaning, or that bother her conscience..... the bible does not provide details as to what sexual practices between a husband and a wife should be considered clean or unclean.
a christian couple must make decisions that reflect their resolve to honor jehovah, to please each other, and to maintain a clean conscience.
generally speaking, a couple would not discuss with others this intimate aspect of their marriage..

What made you look behind the jw curtain?
by Touchofgrey ini was listening to a lunchtime call in radio show about jws and the personal experiences of being disfellowshiped, and a former elder called in saying he was disfellowshiped for asking about jws and their involvement in the un in the 1990s ,and he just said look it up.. thinking that it was a made up lie ,so i looked it up and it was true even a letter confirming it from the un itself and that led me here and to jwfacts and further research into the history and teachings of jw and walked out the door about 5 years ago.

stan livedeath -- reminds me of a call out in service a householder (male) mentioned he used to be a JW and I, being a neophyte, asked him what about now. He chuckled said he just got bored with it. He was kind and said return whenever you want.🤣 I'll never forget -- at time I couldn't imagine anyone having time to become 'bored' w/all the meetings, reading material, etc.Link +2 / -0 -

1. they show love among themselves by not going to war.
not killing your fellow believers in any circumstances, including war, would seem to be a very basic requirement for true christianity.

by nowwhat? inbut what they don't say he left started and ran a real estate company and a global real estate consulting firm and apparently after making a fortune come back to bethel a few years ago.
how in the hell could a non lifer now be anointed and appointed to be a gb member.

Perhaps GB hiring (haha/GB appointment) knowledgeable in-house real estate individuals as agents for representation re/WT corp's real estate matters great move. Maybe even save them a nickel here or there. Financial advisors, property management, legal firms/accountants/marketing, etc., etc., -- the bus operations in mgmnt. control all exorbitant figures but critical. Hard to imagine the other GB members capable of representing multi-billion dollar real estate co. to professional, knowledgeable, experts.Link +1 / -0
