Commenting at Meetings: A Way Of Expressing Your Faith???

as we are told by the wt, commenting at the meetings is supposed to be a way of expressing your faith in the congregation.

i hardly felt this today during the wt study today or every meeting for that matter.

it seems more like this is the time when everyone wants to correct others or direct their comments in a way that it's condemnatory to others.

What Do I Do Now?

as some of you may know, i'm currently an active jw that is tired of the lies, deception, and overall bs of the wts.

right now i'm finding myself going into the angry stage as to how manupulative the org is in the lives of so many and how they ruin them.

i feel a little helpless sometimes now that i just wonder how things will turn out.

The Watchtower Educational System

this is just something i was thinking of earlier and it just had me at awe when i thought about just how much into this i was.. 1. prepare watchtower lesson each week.. a study about the org's version of bible understanding.

this is the biggie.

it is pretty much said that if you don't take as much time as possible to study your wt lesson, you aren't spiritual and don't appreciate spiritual things fully.

The "Great Crowd of Other Sheep Idiots"???

at a recent public talk, the visiting brother, a retired co, was going on and on about how much we need the fds.

one point he used that really annoyed me was his reasoning that with the "dwindling" number of anointed and the increasing number of great crowd, that the org has made simpler wt articles so that the great crowd can understand better.

he said that wt articles in decades past were much more of a harder read for the gc.. so are prospective members of the "great crowd" supposed to be a bunch of numbskull, intellectually inferior idiots that can't walk and breathe at the same time without instruction from the fds?.

for those of you that don't know, i've recently had many doubts about the org and realized that i can't just let them go.

the thing was however, that i was nervous as to how my fiancee would react when i would make my doubts known to her.

so.....i finally talked to her today and it went a little something like this.......... i started with us reading together acts.

i'm currently a ministerial servant and pioneer in my congregation.

i want to begin my fade soon.

i'm going to get off the pioneer list first instead of quitting both positions at once, hopefully to ease potential gossip.

hello all.. as some of you know recently i've realized the importance of really examining the jws yet i'm still a part of it(ms, reg pioneer).

well i have as of late put alot more time into bible reading(with different translation) with a more open mind without the watchtower blinders and it has been very refreshing to me.

the more i read about first century christianity and the message they preached the more i realize just how off the the wt really is.

i have lurked around here for a little while and i've finally seen the need to post.

i'm 22 years old and a ministerial servant and pioneer in my congregation.

i'm not really here to knock the organization, but i must admit that there are some things(ex.
