  My Window cleaner is a JW!

  i've had the same window cleaner for 2 years.

  very cheap and does his job well.. the other week though i heard him whistling.... at first i thought my mind was playing tricks but no... he was whistling kingdom melodies!.

  ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  i am sure that this question as been asked before.

  when i think of my life now,a lovely kind beautiful wife, two happy healthy kids, good job, nice home, real friends.

  yes since i left the jws almost twenty years ago i can honestly say i have lived my life.. when i eventually left the death by bordem cult ... i had nothing, a loveless marraige i only stayed in because of the jws, no friends, no home to call my own, in debt, i had a wife who was so depressed she shooped to make herself happy.

  it will be small, but it will be great.

  since im still living separate from my jw hubby, im going to take advantage of the freedom.

  Butterfly, You got me so curious abt what you've got for your family??? You say you went all out??!!

  Ziddina, I'd love to see your pics but I don't think I will post any. I live alone for the moment in an apartment and I don't put up so much ligth and I don't have a tree. Since we're at my brothers place for Christmas.

  It's been 2 years though, with not a single word from my sister

  Do you hate the person you were, in the WT ??

  when i look back, i can do so with rose coloured spectacles, but, in truth, i do not like the cult member i was.. o.k , in mitigation i was one of the most liberal jw's in a very liberal congregation, i never did the 100% shunning bit, i found nice seats (not at the very back, and next to their family if poss.

  ) for the df'd ones after giving them a proper welcome to the k.h for example.. but i still see clearly that my thinking was twisted by those mind controlling bastards who run, and write for ,the wtb$.

  i did not trust anybody worldly to any great degree, i believed the "system" would end one day and so i didn't have to contribute anything to it,.. i could go on, but basically i hate all those things about me that were from the cult.. how about you ?

  Of course it was a major change to leave the borg but it's more than 2yrs ago and I feel I need to change my life again...

  I've the same job since 12 yrs. It's a great job with the best colleagues and good salary etc. But I live far away from the rest of my family and I really don't feel motivated at my work any more...

  However, it's a big step and scary to leave my comfortable life here. My nice apartment and my friends. What to do?

  I just know I can't continue like this...
