i'm a new member here but i have read this forum from about 6 months ago.. i was born in jw, all my family is jw.. one day i decide to make a research about the prophecies because i thought that would help me strengthen my faith.

i always like the prophecies.

i'm so glad i happened to stumble across this website cause i really need to express what i've been holding inside for quite some time.

i'm 27 and was born and raised in the "truth".

i'm married and my husband was also raised as a jw, been married for almost 7 years and have two kids who have just started kindergarten and preschool.

i've been lurking here for about 2 years now, but was unable to really interact because of limitations of my ipod browser (you can't post from there) and the parental controls on my computer.. .

well 2 years later, i'm a big boy, turned 18 and moved out.

What's the silliest, funniest, stupidest, most embarassing thing you ever did on the platform?

its friday evening and after being trapped in our home all week with over 2 meters (6 ft) of snow on the ground and more coming........ i feel the need to get a little silly.. so, as no one here really knows me, i can share one of lifes embarassing moments from the kh.

seeing as it's my question, i get to go first.. during the bible review, i accidentally used the s**t word.

my wife gave me a "wth" look.

i've been out of "the truth" (df'd) for over the last 15yrs and have struggled with one question all this time.

if the jw faith is not the one true religion and way to worship god then what is??

after all the bible doesn't say there are many ways to serve god but that the door is narrow leading off to ever lasting life and few are the ones finding it.
