  Picky-Ass Christian thrift store

  today, i went to drop off some donated items at a christian thrift store.

  (nw christian) before i went, i called them to ask what they would accept.

  when i got there, the two that unload the free items that i was to donate hemmed and hawed and said, "well i don't know...." now, this wasn't junk, people.

  hey y'all....incase anyone is interested,,,,tinkerbell4125 is away for a few days....she needed to go in to the hospital to straighten out her med's...life in an abusive environment growing up does wonders to a person...she's a hard fighter though....she's doing great....should be back in a couple more days.....boy do i miss her......hurry back tink..........cc

  JW Dad talks to me,talks to me not

  my jw dad calls me every once in awhile and is very friendly.

  i have even went to his house for dinner,went shopping with him and his wife.

  then months go by and i call he is cold and distant.so i figure he doesn't want a relationship.

  It's just hard. I think it's harder to interact with them than it is to stay away. I've tryed it both ways. It sucks either way, but I've just to view them as dead and go from there. I had a hard time with my j.w. mom, I just couldn 't stay away, even up until her death, I wanted her approval. It was tough, to say the least. I'm feel bad for anyone that is dealing with this with their j.w. parents.

  how would you have left the borg, if you had it to do over?

  i would have threatened to sue those s.o.b's.

  in fact i still think about it.

  I know what I would have done! I would have threatened to sue those s.o.b's. In fact I still think about it. It's been a 2 years since I d.a.ed myself. Could I still do it!!! And would it be worth the heartache and hassel! Sueing the whole intire org. for millions of dollars for damages?

  They destroy so many families.

  They should be stopped!

  Does anyone agree?

  them a dollar for ice cream - are wicked, led by satan and will.

  if you could "bump your head" and forget all the crap that came with being a witness, would you?

  but, in some way, i think i have grown from the experience & have learned from it, and it has made me be a better personl, less judgemental, more tolerant, more open.

  but, if there was a magic pill to erase it- hmm......hell yes i'd do it!

  pardon my ignorance, having never been a jw, but what do jw's do on the fourth since they don't believe in flag and country?

  can they go to friend's bar-b-ques?

  is it ok if they go to a parade or firework display?
