I appreciate your honest response, and I apologize for offending you. I am very accustomed to this kind of argument coming from people who often do not have a clue about what they are talking about. You made it clear that you are not one of those people, and I do apologize for offending you.
It is a very emotional issue for both parties. I did not intend to offend you. I do agree with some of what you are saying, but I still think it is better to have an abortion than to fill up the foster care system with exactly what you referred to - the "problem children" who will not get adopted. I think that your personal, anecdotal evidence is good enough for the purpose of a discussion board, but probably not for making public policy. I suspect you would agree that neither is mine. Edited to say that actually a lot of kids stay in foster care, not just "some."
