Well aren't you just a bundle of not knowing what the hell you're babbling about.

Fortunately, the grammar lesson paid off. Well constructed sentence, even if the content was BS. You're welcome.

Yet, some were much older, even adults. So, I truly do not know. I think it depends on when the person himself manifests what he/she is... which can happen very early... or later.

Do you think many that die from starvation, natural disasters(children mainly) and chronic illness(through no choice of their own)...Get to "show themselves" as his children?

    No . . . not racist EP . . . we're playing the gender discrimination card on this thread . . . remember?

Alas . . . such are the struggles of the critical thinker . . . our path is not the easy one.

EP, I started the "Pot calling the Kettle Black" on this thread. It isn't racist and AGuest's use of it isn't racist.
You might be just trying to be funny, but people get all bent out of shape when the "R" word is thrown around.

Oh, I was the black pot calling the "kettle" black, if we are getting all picky and technical.

    Wow.

Jeff, I also answered your question. Not going to search through 30 odd pages for it, though.

Cofty - I hope you understand what Shelby said about 'us' vs. 'them', because murderers are also 'us' and non-murderers 'them'. (well, hopefully in the reverse order) I hope you also can see that most non-believers on this thread have the us (rational, logical) vs them (believers - irrational, superstitious, illogical, afraid of death, etc, etc, ad nauseum)

I am frustrated with this thread. With being insulted, and falsey accused. Of being told what I feel, and why I feel it. (that IS the pot calling the kettle black, and what should be some of the most obvious case of hypocrisy on this thread by those doing it... but it seems to go unnoticed)

Being misunderstood is different...I don't always e X plain myself very well, nor clarify well when someone asks me what I meant. So I get that. But the rest... I don't get.

Still, I know you asked me some things, so I'm going to go find them and continue our discussion.

Uber, you asked something about what would make me question my faith... I can't think of anything. Prove to me somehow that Christ is not real. That might do it. You can't, though, because He is real... so nothing I guess. As for agreeing with any ideas that unbelievers have... you will have to be more specific. I agree with peace, mercy, forgiveness, love and tolerance and respect. Makes no difference to me if the proponents of those things are muslims, hindus, jews, buddhists, or atheists... or purple aliens from another universe. I look at the individual.

    Peace,

    tammy

That would be a valid thought tec...if that little girl wasn't the one facing the consequences for something she never did. WE...is a word that generalizes the terrible things that happen...but when you break it down to individuals...more often than not...they are innocent. So

how do you justify innocent people paying the consequences for guilty ones. How is it possible for children to be guilty of anything that deserves death as a punishment?....Do you honestly believe that a loving God would stand by and watch children starve to death and do

    nothing?

That girl wasn't guilty of anything (other than a temper tantrum or two, perhaps) But her death wasn't a punishment. It was a consequence of being run over and no one helping her. Which was a consequence of whatever led to people not caring enough to help her. So OUR children suffer for OUR crimes. Yes, they do. That is sad, but also fully within OUR power to stop from happening. At least God can restore her life.

How would you feel about God if He took our children away from us whenever we did or taught something hurtful to them?

    Peace,

    Tammy

Dear, dear Tec... the greatest of love and peace to you, my dear one... and, girl, don't let these boyz get to you (note, boyz includes the 'girlz' that they include in their "us" - LOLOLOLOL!). What they're dishing out is only part of their job... and taking it is part of ours. Which both "us" and "them" take seriously (I wouldn't bother, actually, if I didn't think they WERE serious). They can be hypocritical, yes... and, as mentioned, call kettles black (although they never own up to it... which only adds deceit to the hypocrisy and thus injury to the insults, but...). You know who and what you are, dear one. You don't need another human to validate you... and you certainly let them overcome with their attempts to INvalidate. So, don't let 'em get to you, my love... you're not alone, not at all.

Do you think many that die from starvation, natural disasters(children mainly) and chronic illness(through no choice of their own)...

And bombs... and land mines... and schrapnel... and genocide... and abuse ... and murder... and accidents... etc., etc., etc., as well as those who don't die but suffer from such tragedies... so don't leave them out...

Get to "show themselves" as his children?

I do, dear Jay88 (again, peace to you!). I absolutely do. I know it. How? Because I know my Lord... and through him my God... and neither are unrighteous so as to forget the truly innocent. It doesn't work that way, dear one. Truly. While many DO take on the "god" of their parents, many don't. Sure, they go through the motions... but who and what they are on the INSIDE is what the Most Holy One of Israel... who examines the heart and the kidneys... is looking at.

    Again, peace to you!

    A slave of Christ,

    SA

Shelby can answer for herself, but my answer is 'yes, absolutely.'

I know Shelby. To all of it, I know, and thank you.

I can get annoyed on my behalf, occasionally, true... but no big deal, and that's pretty much already gone. I probably should have hit delete instead of submit with that post. I think I am just disheartened for the misunderstanding that turns so many people away (not from God, just from the lie they think is God), along with whatever else does so. You know?

Peace though, to all... and please accept my apology for my 'lashing out'.

    Tammy
