Interesting, and revealing, that Paul had no moral compass without rules and regulations spelling out to him what is right and wrong.
How exactly did Jesus fulfill the law NOT the prophecies.

“How exactly did Jesus fulfill the law NOT the prophecies.”
Same as the Santa Clause figure fulfilled Noel but never really brought the presents.

MP: It would appear that both of you cant read. Im sorry for the insult, but i mean it literally. You claim i need to Jesus because i sin or break the laws of Moses and yet you cant point a single one out. At the time of Jesus this was the law he came to rescue the *JEWS* not mankind from. Stopping worrying about my soul and stuff and get into the Bible. So many comments and not a single scripture. -

APOG:
I didn't see the value in discussing whether you personally, mP, have broken any of those laws, so I haven't talked about that before now. It seems tangential to the point that I and others have been trying to make. But since you seem obsessed with proving your compliance to old Jewish laws, I'll bite... surely you don't claim to be keeping all the practices described in Maimonides' list of 613 mitzvot which you referred to earlier? These include:
- Not shaving the beard (law 68/69)
- Wearing phylacteries (law 79/80)
- Saying the Shema prayer twice a day (law 76)
- Not marrying non-Jews (law 162)
as well as one that non-Jews sometimes keep, which I also doubt you're following:
- Keeping the Sabbath (law 87, and many others)
MP:
If it is possible to separte the religious or cultural type laws from the legal ones then i have not broken any. The list you give above are all religious. If i was religious then i could quite easily do all the above. After all if you live in ancient Israel the its almost automatic that you will marry a jew. There are not many jews here and the ones that are dont really advertise it or care because they have moved on from racist stereotypes.
Forget the religious laws and focus on the remainder (eg murder) and tell me which i have broken. I made it clear before that since im not a believer then i wouldnt bother, buti will repeat if i was and had too then its no big deal.

We've given many and you've rejected them.

TEC:
Leviticus 19:11
"Do not steal." (there is no addendum stating you can steal from a corporation, but just not from your neighbor)
"Do not lie." (you have been stating that there is no such verse)
"Do not deceive on another."
Leviticus 19:16
"Do not go about spreading slander among your people." (Sort of like saying that someone is a racist or approves of rape and pedophelia, based purely on your own assumptions, perhaps?)
MP:
Thnk you for the scriptures.
I will use the mizvot as a reference to get the direction from the rabbis. I will use both the NWT and the commentary.
RABBIS
Not to deny possession of something entrusted to you — Lev. 19:11
NWT
11 “‘Y OU ? people must not steal, and ? YOU ? must not deceive, and ? YOU ? must not deal falsely anyone with his associate.
MP:
Two seem to be saying something different.
STEALING: From the perspective of the Rabbis i am in the clear. I have taken pens but rarely as i dont need them or want them. Who uses pens these days anyway ? There has never been anything of value that i wnat to stealm frommy work palces , they gave you the good stuff for free, eg food and tshirts. Who wants to steal a plastic pot plant or desktop computer, certainly not me or the majority of people ?
Even when i was a kid i only stole from my dads wallet once as i didnt eat junk food and had no use for money. I had my bike , computer and cricket gear and that was good enough for me.
DECIEVE, DEAL FALSELY:
The above text sounds like business ethics, and as i rarely sell anything, this is not a problem. Im sure the same is true of most people. IN terms of regular lying, sure i have lied, but if it really mattered like at court i wouldnt lie, and i say wouldnt because i have never been to court.
12 And ? YOU ? must not swear in my name to a lie, so that you do profane the name of your God. I am Jehovah. 13 You must not defraud your fellow, and you must not rob. The wages of a hired laborer should not stay all night with you until morning.
MP
Notice it says AND, since i dont bleieve in Jehovah i never swear anything in his name so this is not a problem for me.

. Law Oral communication of false statements injurious to a person's reputation. 2. A false and malicious statement or report about someone.
Im sorry i have never slandered you. You said you supported Jesus and he supported slavery. At no stage did he condemn it. The same goes for the other evils. In fact he said on multiple occassions he came for the jews. His own actions of preaching on ly inJudea to only jews shows this to be true. You have said you endorse jesus teachings, well the facts and speak for themselves. If i was wrong, then you would be able to produce a scripture where jesus says Slavery, rape, racism & pedophilia are wrong.
If you endorse Jesus and he endorsed by not speaking against rape, then you too feel the same way. If you dont like rape then you have an issue with your claim that you support of all of jesus words.
The fact that you cant produce a big list of dont dos from Jesus shows that he never replaced the law. Just like the Torah is a large list, so too must any law also be, because life and community is complicated. No where doe Jesus claim to replace the law. No where does he give a big list. Your claim is flawed on multiple occassions, the only sensible conclusion is that he was commentating and not replacing the Torah.

I have never hated anybody and this is of course an ad hominem attack because you cant do any better as you have demonstrated by way of this comment. Of course if you have something intelligent to say iw ill wiethdraw this assumption.
Lets hope yoou can do better than arguments typical of pre school kids.
