    Somewhere in your analysis there's a flaw. In other words, you are wrong slimboyfat

    What I see in Hispanic congregations is that people who get baptized are mostly born-ins and few immigrants who feel lonely, have limited education (9th or lower) and/or have no access or interest in the internet.

    It's a new world, it's not what it used to be even 15 years ago when congregations had to split every few years to accomodate newcomers. English congregation actually are merging because they are losing "parishoners" and therefore there are too many empty seats.

    Shador those are interesting numbers. It seems there was a peak in participation in the ministry around twenty years ago, with a dip in the meantime, but now is not far behind.

    Firstly, why should immigrants and lonely people not count? Are they like inferior beings or something?

    Secondly, immigrants can't explain worldwide growth, unless you believe in aliens from outer space converting to the JWs.

    Plus, the number of congregations is growing, a figure which can be verified independently of WT internal figures in many lands due to charitable status. In the UK for example each congregation is registered so if the number of congregations was faked or in decline overall it could not be disguised.

    your big mistake is based on watchtower reported numbers ... THEY LIE .... about everything.. why do you believe their self reported grandiose stats?

    what they can't lie about is the cost of printing a magazine .. it had to be downsized.... only declining sales numbers could bring that about..

    Thats the tell, a printing company printing less and less product.... their buisness is in decline...

    nobody knows what the other numbers are for real.. but the demand for their product is in decline, or they wouldn't have made the cuts.

    it's the only stat you can trust..

    On JWfact's website it shows that in the last few years more hours per baptism are needed than many years ago. So while the JWs are growing, the work needed to make that growth happen is harder. The JWs may yet grow for decades to come, but at what cost to the 'R and F'? For a religion which actively promotes its religion from door to door in most countries, there really isn't much to show for it.

    So, by 2034 they will have increased their percentage of the World population by 0.00132 %

    They will still be way behind the Mormons(LDS) and the SAD's in total numbers, this, and the increase within Islam, will make any JW increase look very silly.

    I think from the JW R&F perspective they will be feeling it is a decline.

    You missed the point altogether. Lonely and immigrant count just as much as anyone else. The point was that the religion of JW is appealing to less and less people. My observations are only anecdotal, buit certainly true. The Spanish congregations in California are stagnating. Qute a different story from just 15 years ago. I don't claim to know objectively the reason behind the change, but the change is palpable. There is growth Ok, but not what it used to be. So, if the trend continues, they will hit zero growth eventually and then go into negative numbers.

    Use me as a reason why their numbers will decline. Two years ago I was willing to praise JW's over Catholics. Today I am spreading the word about the WT leaders' arrogance, dishonesty and manipulative tactics. I may be a lonely crusader against the WT in my social circle, but I was not a crusader against the WT before. You can bet your butt that in the next 30 or so years of life left for me I will be able to disuade few people out of the WT grasp. People like me and many others here were not actively undermining the WT before. Things are changing, slowly may be, but they are definitely moving against WT best wishes
