  There you go AlphaMan, you should stand up with your Christian brother and announce your homophoia to the world. It is something you should be proud of... to paraphrase Perry's wonderful post... "God hates Fags". How much clearer can you get?

  Clearly Perry is a wonderful Christian person, you see despite God hating the gays... Perry is fully of "compassion" for them, how wonderful that such a pure soul as Perry is here in the world to convey such a message. But wait, we should not 'coddle' the gays... oh no... let's not forget that... no they deserve to DIE! That's right, God hates gays so much he kills them dead.

  I presume Perry that you also are against divorced couples remarrying?

  What about stoning adulterers? What about women that get wed and are not virgins, should they be killed? What about a betrothed woman who does not cry out while being raped, we probably should kill them too?

  What a wonderful message of compassion the bible gives the world, and thank you lord for sending such wonderful people as Perry and AlphaMan to carry your message home... Amen.

  MASH.....now you are sounding unstable. I am NOT a Christian. Nothing in context I have said in this thread can be taken as anti-gay. The context of my posts simply clearly support the freedom of any private denomination Pastor from being forced by the government under threat of jailing for politely declining to marry same sex couples. You have the right to think it, but why do you think gay rights should trump religious rights? What if a gay Pastor's conscience caused him to politely decline marrying a heterosexual couple? There is so many places something like this can go to when you refuse to respect others people's conscience & beliefs.

  I don't know you, but you will NEVER in any of my posts find anything bashing gay people. To come out and take everything I said out of context and throw the homophobe & racist label on me is just wrong.

  ..hey guys I didn't want to upset or offend anyone by posting this, I just found it interesting from a "Christian" perspective. Is not or rather was not marriage between one man and one woman first instituted by "God". Why do gays insist on christian marriage in a church when clearly the scriptures condemn, if not to prove anything but a point of legality. If we were not dealing with corporate entities, governments and religion/churches there would not be a problem/issue. If it is so important for them to practice their rights why not start a gay church where they can apply their own rules and regulations. If christians were free under/in Christ, following the example of early christians meeting in small groups at each others homes,with the scriptures as our only authority focusing on loving and caring for each other(not publishing bibles & spending billions of man hrs preaching the WT) without some corporation(gov't or religious corporate entity) telling us what is and isn't acceptable to Him that we aim to please it wouldn't be an issue.

  Anyway it is my belief that homosexuality maybe a choice in some instances but in the greater gay community I think they are created, like genetically modified so to speak sort of in regard to the daily exposure environmentally and dietary to gender bender chemicals.   The gov't's would rather force acceptance of the new norm than take responsibilty. Providing a clean safe nurturing environment in which our selves and young could grow was just too much for them. Imagine if people could sue for for physical alterations of their genetic gender preferences due to environmental exposure.   I have not meant to offend but it you consider the rise in gay inclinations to say the rise in autism just for an example in just say the last 20yrs 1 in 10,000 to 1 in 50 I don't think the theory should be discounted.

  I reposted your own comment and simply replaced homophobic with racist and gays with black. When you read the substituted post, would you say it sounds racist? I cannot really explain any more clearly. I am not saying you are racist, I am saying it is homophobic.

  I have not taken what you said "out of context", you are saying that 'gays' are allowed to be discriminated against and I am saying they should not be. If a pastor does not want to follow state marriage laws they should simply stop marrying people.

  Gay people have gained a lot of acceptance, but they lose support when they try to ramrod their beliefs down people's throats who simply believe differently.

  Here you suggest that 'gay people' (generalising is a sure fire sign of homophobia) wanting to get married is not a desire for them to express love for one another, but an effort to "ramrod their beliefs down people's throats".

  Also, being gay is not a belief. What exactly do you think "their beliefs" are?

  Being a christian is not being homophobic it is just that alternative lifestyle is not acceptable to the one that is worshiped in the Bible. He has His standard, we did not make up the rule. Being a SLUT is NOT acceptable either. Just because SLUTS are NOT acceptable does not make me a slut hater, but I wouldn't endorse that lifestyle either. UNLESS they TURN AWAY from that course then one would be pleasing to him. We all have free will to choose how we behave. We all desire to do things that we ought not, it is just that some of us control and gain mastery over that desire, others succumb. Heteorsexual or homosexual.Married or unmarried.
