You Know - I would like a simple (read: one word) answer to this simple question: Do you believe that the WTBTS is a corrupt organization?

You Know's comments are so stereotypically JW it's frightening. Any and all excuses will be used.
You Know rails against people who have an agenda regarding Watchtower. Well of course, an agenda is simply a viewpoint or worldview. Such can range from a set of fuzzy notions to a detailed plan of action. So what? Who doesn't have a worldview? Anyone who doesn't is either braindead or just plain dead.
You Know's rantings are like those who rail against anyone who has left some organization and is "disgruntled". As if being pissed off about being abused, and being disgruntled, somehow discounts the reasons for being so. People often remain objective despite their anger and despite holding negative opinions about some organization. People like the Watchtower defender Rodney Stark seem to think that it's impossible to hold a negative opinion and remain objective. How stupid!
As regards the silentlambs issue, I've been actively whacking away at Watchtower over this issue since 1994, when a group of us critics on Usenet viewed a Canadian Broadcasting show "Witnesses of Jehovah", which showed the disgusting perversions involved in the way JWs disfellowship people as a means of control and punishment. This led quickly into discussions of the inadequacies of JW policies on child abuse and rape, as shown in their published literature. Indeed, a 1995 WT article proved beyond all argument that the Society supports abusive perverts at the expense of victims, by telling elders that all instances of abuse involving "repressed memories" should be ignored. I've participated in innumberable discussions since then of how the Society aids and abets child abuse and the general abuse of women. Exposing their disgusting letting go of the child rapist and GB member Leo Greenlees was just one part of this.
Today, perverted supporters of rapists, like You Know, think to derail the efforts, in the eyes of the naive, of folks like Bill Bowen. When Bowen came along and had the courage to put himself on the line by publicly exposing the abuses he saw, that simply confirmed what us critics had been saying all along, and so we joined forces with regard to the molestation issue. So for perverts like You Know to now claim that we are simply using the child molestation issue as fodder for some other agenda is to ignore the facts of history.
As for "exploiting" abuse victims, that's completely laughable. I attended the silentlambs vigil in Kentucky last Friday, and I met Holly Berry. Holly and her sister are bringing a lawsuit against Watchtower in New Hampshire for covering up their abuse. When she was four, Berry's stepfather hung her by her hair in a barn and had the family dog have a go at her. He did lots of other perverted things, too. Holly gave a short speech at the vigil, thanking Bowen, Anderson and everyone who has been working behind the scenes on this issue. Holly certainly doesn't feel exploited -- except by Watchtower. On the contrary, she and the rest of us are working together to bring this monstrosity to its knees and to stop hurting people.
Ooh, goodness. He said "bring this monstrosity to its knees". That's an agenda!
Damn right it's an agenda! It's a good one, too. What's wrong with working to stop a perverted organization from working its perversions? Watchtower is fully aware of my agenda, as I've been making it clear for a decade. It's very simple: stop abusing people via the bad child abuse practices, shunning, prohibition of blood transfusions, telling gross lies on every front, and at the root of it all, abusing people by making them think that WTS leaders are substitutes for God.
This is not a hidden agenda. Indeed, I've been shouting it on the Internet for years!
As for my personal involvement in the silentlambs movement, I've had the privilege of talking to several dozen abuse victims and often been able to offer some comfort. I've done plenty of other things in support of Bowen's efforts. All of this is in conjunction with my larger goal: stop Watchtower from abusing people.
You Know's implied claim that someone has to be an abuse victim in order to properly work for positive change is yet another excuse given by a pervert. We continue to see such perverted excuses given by JWs searching for any means to excuse themselves for worshiping a perverted organization.
In You Know's rantings we can see how these perverts try to "reason". They jump on all exposures of negative aspects of Watchtower teaching and policy as mere tools to discredit the Society. As if these issues themselves were not sufficient to discredit these physical and spiritual abusers!
Let the naive not be deceived! You Know and his ilk have only one goal -- to rule over them.
What? To "rule over them"? Yep. You Know and his brothers on the Governing Body are all wannabe anointed Priest-Kings who expect to soon rule the world. Their rantings excuses are entirely in line with this goal. Who in his right mind would want to submit to abusers like them? Men who demonstrably skin the sheep and throw them about at will? These men are the proverbial bad shepherds who exploit the sheep. They're very good at turning things around and claiming that those who expose their exploitation are the exploiters.
In the long run, due to the efforts of good people like Bill Bowen, Barbara Anderson and the countless others who have worked diligently to expose the rot at the heart of Watchtower, people like You Know and the men he would like to be with, will be beaten down. Already the world knows that these men are false teachers and false prophets. The world was just informed that these men are perverts who work to cover up the grossest forms of child molestation. As more and more of the abused come out of Watchtower and into the light and tell their stories to the media and whoever else will listen, the corruption that Watchtower has come to be will become that much more exposed. Full exposure can't some soon enough!

YK's request for Dateline to focus on the positive is a ruse. Every day Jw's go from house to house focusing on scritures like Rev 21;3,4.
Loudly proclaiming a 'paradise earth', no more death, suffering, injustice, yet all the while slyly hiding the true remedy required to bring it about.
Positive message my ass. Their true message is filled with death, murder, mayhem, and revenge. Their chosen 'god' Jehovah is far from a peacemaker, he is the epitome of 'darkness and deciet'. A god waiting in the wings, for far to long now btw, to carry out the most unthinkable blood letting in recorded history. This is the the meat the potatoes of Jw doctrine.

2. Are afraid of WT sueing them. With the probability of at least stopping them from addional airings... while court goes on against daline.

I wonder how many GOOD cases have been sealed by court orders. But hey, the documents have not been burned, who knows.
