Just an observation for what it's worth: Left-wingers, progressives, younger people, Corbynites, all seem to blame the UK itself whenever we have one of these outrages.

It's not binary. Of course a terrorist makes a choice as to committing an atrocity but the lead up to the event is a culmination of things. It's not acceptable to suggest that terrorists have been driven to their madness by Western policies to trade and war in the middle east. Neither should we be afraid of looking at our actions and motives in order to learn from mistakes.

No one benefits when blame is put squarely on the shoulders of one person.

Just an observation for what it's worth: Left-wingers, progressives, younger people, Corbynites, all seem to blame the UK itself whenever we have one of these outrages - indeed.

Corbyn and other useful idiots regularly blame foreign policy whenever some nutcase blows himself and everyone around him to kingdom come.

This over-emphasis of foreign policy should really be countered for the complete bullshit it is and be put to bed. I hope the following goes some way in doing that ...

First, Western foreign policy should be sensible, well thought out and effective. The Iraq war was indeed wrong and the people involved should have to answer for their actions.

    However ...

    1. What aspect of Yazidi foreign policy is to blame for ISIS massacring Yazidi men and enslaving and raping Yazidi women and girls?

    2. What aspect of US foreign policy is to blame for Al-Qaeda nut-jobs hijacking four planes and flying them into buildings, killing thousands of innocent people?

    3. Should bearded, barbaric lunatics who reject Western democracy dictate Western foreign policy?

    4. The Manchester bomber's parents were given refuge from Gaddafi's murderous regime. Twenty years later, their son repaid our country's kindness by killing men, women and children at a pop concert. That family should love UK foreign policy but obviously doesn't. Should these kind of people be prevented from entering the UK?

The best way to stop terrorism is the game of Cricket played by India and Pakistan and their players are recorded as saying even if their countries are at war Cricket is not negotiable. This is the opinion of one of my mates after all the Indians and the Pakistanis are continually suspicious of each other and their is a dispute over Kashmir. One game of Cricket can last 5 days and 6 days on the last test so what a way to keep people occupied unlike baseball or basketball only lasting a matter of hours. Cricket was once popular in the American colonies but it didn't take off with games lasting far too long for working people.

To Tell the truth after talking with my friend and him suggesting the game of Cricket to beat all the evils in the world I was very angry because I thought he just didn't appreciate the gravity of the situation then like a light bulb event i thought of India and Pakistan.

The bottom line, and you can see my recent post detailing it, is the more muslims and the higher concentration in your country, the more terror attacks. Those who have closed their borders to them, like Poland, have no attacks. The person commenting about the Iraq war and why not more attacks around then, they can't do the attacks if they aren't there, but letting millions enter the past few years, that's why.

Yes, you got angry because I held you to account for making outrageous statements about the need to execute the relatives of people who were "most radical".

I don't write things in order for people to like me. If that was my objective I am doing a terrible job.

something this serious is going to happen again and again.

Yes it is. And your attitude doesn't help.

I thought we had resolved this. Stop trying to defend the indefensible.

My Muslim friend who is a nurse, just rode by on her bike. Next time we meet I am going to show her this thread, and ask her if she would like to reply ....my guess is she will smile, and think I'm a nurse not a doctor.

The 3000 radicals on the terror watch list need to be jailed ASAP.
