who the 70 years applied to and the diffrence it makes on what we beleave
by PMJ infor some time last night i studyed the scriptures concering the 70 years talked about in the bible.i was up untill 5 am.i looked at the scripture jeremiah were it says concering these nations they will have to serve babylon 70 years now at first glance it seems to say that its not only refering to the jews in exile it seems its talking about babylon given 70 years to rule over the nations.but it if we look at verse 17 it names the nations its talking about read for your selfs

by PMJ ini think that every one on this site goes way over the top calling jehovahs wittnesses names you spend more time trying to prove them wrong than you do prasing god.i mean is this your purpose in life.if you no more about the bible than the wittnesses then go straght a head and speak.but dont act like a spoiled brat calling people names.a lot of people on this site will belevae what they want to beleave because it suits there lifestyle lets get to the root of whats realy in your hearts

What is the best JW book please?
by Clam inhi everyone.. i'm keen to read more books about jw's.
i've so far only read crisis of conscience but now have the appetite.i'd be more interested in the background of the organisation and what kind of people russell and rutherford were etc, but i'd also like to read any "apostate" exposes, especially ex elders.

"seven times" in Daniel applied to whom?
by truth about the last days inthis is something of intrest to all.so far many have learned that the "seven times" in dan 4:25 had seemed to apply that the 2520 yrs from the date 607bc took us to the date 1914. seeing now that conclusive evidence that the 607bc date is wrong and the date 587 or 586bc is the correct date, this puts the calulations out of wack.
so who did the "seven times"apply to?
well, if the whole chapter 4 and verses 20+21 of chapter 5 is read, we can see that the "seven times" only applied to nebuchadnezzar himself- and no one else.
