Watchtower Society Dilemma: How do they keep the numbers UP?
by Gamaliel inthe society doesn't loudly report the number of baptized members.
it is more interested in average publishers, and then peak publishers in any specific month of reporting.
(the publishers can include children and those in the "pipeline" for baptism.

USA White House Officials force Career "Homi-Suicide" a-la UK's David Kelly
by Gamaliel ini found this article to be a bit surprising from our "new york and long island" newspaper that used to be so pro-israel, anti-palestinian in its reporting over the years.
it's effectively the same type of governmental attack on a lifetime career that evidently led to the suicide (or worse) of david kelly in london.
(david kelly was the scientist who committed suicide last week just days after being called before a parliamentary committee to question his participation in the story that blair's aides had "sexed up" a lack of evidence to make it appear like evidence blair needed to get backing for the invasion of iraq.

Propagandists caught in major deception??

i wanted to share a curious find with respect to a letter which is making the rounds all over the internet.
one version, which is not making the rounds, is one that a church evidently is claiming is the original they received from a member who is an army major on duty in iraq.

I just discussed the new UN speculation with my Dad
by Gamaliel infrom about the time of my da/df, my father went several years without saying a word to me -- and my mother held out a year or so longer than my father.
at my uncle's funeral my mother even pulled my father away while he was actually apologizing to me for never having spoken to me since the time of my then-recent near death accident.
(a car trying to run a light went around the stopped car in front of him and ran up on the sidewalk to offer me my first and only "out of body" experience.
