    dear lovelylil...

Jesus antagonized (by speaking the truth) the pharisees with every empty debate that they wanted to drag Him into...it seemed to be His way of making them listen to themselves while teaching His on-lookers at the same time. so maybe...WWJD...

Why take a critical look at 'Christianity'........ oh let's see, 2000 years of Christian on Christian violence, then they went after the 'heathens', enslaved humans on every continent they put their grubby missionary feet on, broke every treaty and promise they ever made to the indigenous peoples they conquered. The list goes on and on.

    So why question Christianity Really?

    Not every time, MyElaine/Michelle.

Sometimes, they were who He thought they were, and He let 'em off the hook!

Matthew 15:12 Later his disciples came and told him, "Did you know how upset the Pharisees were when they heard what you said?"

13 -14 Jesus shrugged it off. "Every tree that wasn't planted by my Father in heaven will be pulled up by its roots. Forget them. They are blind men leading blind men. When a blind man leads a blind man, they both end up in the ditch." The Message Bible

How come this 'Jesus' plagiarizes the teachings of the great Pharisee Rabbis and never gives them credit. At some point the 4 Gospels should be reexamined by Believers sitting at a desk in front of a Rabbi, maybe then the record will start to be set straight....

    Tee hee hee.

In the immortal words of the Master:

John 9:39 Jesus then said, "I came into the world to bring everything into the clear light of day, making all the distinctions clear, so that those who have never seen will see, and those who have made a great pretense of seeing will be exposed as blind."

40 Some Pharisees overheard him and said, "Does that mean you're calling us blind?"

41 Jesus said, "If you were really blind, you would be blameless, but since you claim to see everything so well, you're accountable for every fault and failure." The Message Bible

Love to PSac also. Thank you for telling us of your story. Of opening yourself up like that. You don't know what it means to me to hear of it, and I imagine what it means to others as well.

You helped me more than you know these past couple of days.

    Love and peace to all,

    Tammy
