To be completely accurate RBIH they may not be foreign, they just work for foreign campaigns.

yes i realize that. it's still worrisome that there are foreign interests working in OTHER country's campaigns. that reeks of the worst sort of lobbying and that leaves the door open to foreign consultants sticking their nose in our campaigns. i wouldn't be surprised if it happened

Romney didn't say they were foreign interests. He said US consultants like Rove. Are you digging in now?

Does your criticism apply to Obama?

don't blame other people for your position
Straw man. I've blamed no one. All Romney said was that some of his consultants have international experience.

i meant, 'don't blame other people for your position in regards to a bts "pileup"

boo hoo by the way. don't blame other people for disagreeing with your viewpoint. it's not their fault most everyone is disagreeing with you.

take a global persepctive and look at how those wonderful areas are doing and then explain to me why i'd want them involved in MY country's campaign
Obama himself has taken sides, was involved, and made endorsements in African elections before being President. Does your criticism apply there as well?

i don't like that either and would much prefer he stay out of other country's elections.

    that said, armenia...israel...

two countries at the brink of war...with allies.

israel with iran, dragging us and 25 countries with it

armenia with azerbaijan, dragging russia and several other countries with it

yeaa....really want romney in the white house knowing that and in light of his economic policy which is utter horsepucky.

i dunno why you continue to equate obama with socialism when the socialist party of america doesn't like him and has their own candidate...maybe it's time for an objective look with all the facts instead of right wing talking points

As I said, make this into a BTS dogpile, and you can talk among yourselves. Make it personal, and I will move on.

    Category error.

..maybe it's time for an objective look with all the facts instead of right wing talking points

Is that directed at me? Are you making it personal now?

I'm still voting Romney. I don't think Obama can do any better these next 4 years. He has shown he is not up to it on this term.

Don't look now, but who else but Mittens is engaging in dangerous "class-warfare talk" to his wealthy audience, when he thinks it won't get out? Ruh-row. Uh-huh....

Gotta love Mitt's "so they don't get tired of Ann" comment. The thing is, as a Mormon wife she's probably quite used to that, as is he, as a Mormon husband: they probably both don't see even the slightest whiff of ANY controversy or possibility for offense in those words, which SHOULD be damning in itself, being that Mitt would be in a position of responsiblity for a broader range of attitudes and opinions besides those previously encountered (and promptly steam-rolled) in Utah....

he has guys that he readily admits worked in other country's elections. he mentioned them getting netanyahu into power and he wouldn't mention armenia if they didn't get that person into power.

once again, that means there are consulting firms messing about in other country's elections. surely you can't see that as being ok.

These guys in the US-the Karl Rove equivalents-they do races all over the world: in Armenia, in Africa, in Israel.

that would be what he said. the language allows for other consultants that might be foreign firms, but i've already conceded that there might not be foreign companies working in the us elections.

Does your criticism apply to Obama?

yes it does, though in fairness...he just so happens to be half kenyan with family there. still don't think it's right for foreign interests in other campaigns bt that's not as black and white as global consulting firms meddling in elections they have no business in.

also, the state of kenya is far better off than say, armenia and israel which are at the brink of war. mind you, azerbaijan is one of the few muslim countries friendly to israel

Romney's public messaging isn't generally class warfare oriented. Obama's has been. That's the difference.

Now we're down to "generally", huh? Lol!

You missed the easy defense: "but Mitt didn't know he was being recorded, and that wasn't his OFFICIAL stance...."
