    Cap'n Schid. " Actually, (and I believe that no one up til now has been able to say these words more truthfully) I beleive they are Caucasian."

    Once again you are one those mistaking Islam/Muslims with a race. It is not a race, it is a religion embraced by many different ethnic races.

    That was actually a really clever post by Captain Schmideo. The bombers are literally from the Caucasus region. They are Caucasians

    They were 'registered to vote'. Does that mean they actually did vote? Those are two separate acts. As a PR there is no way that I could vote. At least one of the men was a US citizen. sammieswife

    And not even US citizens

    The suspect at large early Friday was Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, 19, born in Kyrgyzstan, who became a naturalized American citizen on Sept. 11, 2012, according to documents obtained by NBC News.

    That's just Dzhokhar Tsarnaev.

    Tamerlan is not a U.S. citizen. Here's the NYT Editor in Chief of Foreign Policy's tweet:

    Peter Baker@peterbakernyt Govt official says younger Chechen became US citizen last year and the older was in the middle of the process.

    Tamerlan is also registered to vote.

    We don't know when Dzhokhar registered to vote. It could have been before he received citizenship. That's what his brother did.

    @soontobe - Tamerlan is not a U.S. citizen.

    We certainy wouldn't want to disenfranchise the international voters now would we? Why shouldn't they have a say in who holds office in this country?

    Looks like a couple of shithead kids á la Columbine. I doubt religion had anything to do with it.

    I would agree with you at first blush, but the thing is one of the terrorists described himself as “very religious”. It doesn't matter if others don't agree with that assessment. If he believed in a cause that told him to be violent, we need to understand why. I don't believe the Columnbine shooters described themselves this way. This makes me think that religion or misguided religion does have something to do with it. I guess as the details emerge well know for sure. But even if it turns out to not, the problem of the medieval mindset of Islam and many of its adherants in the modern age is still there, why can't we call a spade a spade and at least acknowledge that it is really is a problem?
