    @wha happened?

Tootired to give details. Can u elaborate more on your findings?

There are hundreds more like these. The problem is people take these as their own call to action to be "true Muslims" as many in the JW ranks considered themselves to be "truer witnesses" because they were uber pioneers, elders etc. -- in others words better than the average half hearted dub.

Quran (2:191-193) - "And slay them wherever ye find them, and drive them out of the places whence they drove you out, for persecution [of Muslims] is worse than slaughter [of non-believers]... but if they desist, then lo! Allah is forgiving and merciful. And fight them until persecution is no more, and religion is for Allah."

Quran (8:57) - "If thou comest on them in the war, deal with them so as to strike fear in those who are behind them, that haply they may remember."

Quran (9:14) - "Fight them, Allah will punish them by your hands and bring them to disgrace..."

Quran (9:123) - "O you who believe! fight those of the unbelievers who are near to you and let them find in you hardness."

Bukhari (52:220) - Allah's Apostle said... 'I have been made victorious with terror'

Bukhari (52:177) - Allah's Apostle said, "The Hour will not be established until you fight with the Jews, and the stone behind which a Jew will be hiding will say. "O Muslim! There is a Jew hiding behind me, so kill him."

Do Chechens seperatists/militants/etc. have any major ties to Middle Eastern or Asian Jihadists? Also, considering their beef with Russia is well documented, has there ever been any indication that Chechens have any outspoken qualms with the US?

I'm not sure whether just a couple of idiots, or part of a larger group. Sounds like they have / had at least a few accomplices.

But their tactics don't sound like they come from an organized or sophisticated terrorist group: Placing the bombs at ground level instead of higher up, no exit plan (hiding in a nearby neighborhood?), unsophisticated bomb design.

Yes and yes. We've fought a bunch of them in Afghanistan and Iraq when they signed up with the local fighters. They're in Syria right now. They are reputed to be fierce fighters. The Russians pretty much had to level Grozny.

I find it all interesting that the bombing occured on the day of North Korea's much anticipated (100th?) birthday. The focus is now clearly off of Kim Jong Un...is that by chance? He was ready to nuke us. Now....silence from NK.

tootired to answer questions. I was refering to u tying these individuals to radical islam. I just saw the term, very religious. Well I'm very religious but I'm not a muslim.

If in fact they were radical Muslims, the radical Muslim community would be flashing their pics all over their websites. Yet we hear nothing.

Perhaps then you should try being more specific in your request. Had you read the article that I linked in the opening post you would not be asking that question. I'll make it real easy for you:

Prior to his national Golden Gloves competition in Salt Lake City, photographer Johannes Kirn profiled Tsarnaev in a photo essay entitled “Will Box For Passport,” quoting the young boxer as saying that he is a ”very religious” Muslim, which prevents him from drinking, smoking or removing his shirt around women, and that he cares deeply about the independence of Chechnya from Russia.

“Tamerlan says he doesn’t drink or smoke anymore: ‘God said no alcohol.’ A Muslim [SIC], he says: ‘There are no values anymore,’ and worries that ‘people can’t control themselves.’”

“Tamerlan says he doesn’t usually take his shirt off so girls don’t get bad ideas,” according to one of Kirn’s captions. “I’m very religious.”

If that's not religious I don't know what is. So according to his interpreted religious logic of his Alchohol is bad, but mass murder was ok? You really can't even make this stuff up...

I am with Sam Whiskey on this one. Does anyone else find this intense converage on the television slightly overkill? My cousin posted the following comment on Facebook...I have to "somewhat" agree.....

"It's a very serious matter, people are dead, but they are making such a large production of it that no other news is really being addressed. For all we know, North Korea has now invaded 3 countries, the banks have all moved to Bermuda, Drones are being built on the moon, and the government is passing laws and bills that invasively affect us all...oh wait, that last one for sure has already happened...of course we wouldn't know if the other ones really happen or not."

Sorry I got somewhat off subject tootired2care - your thread is excellent.
