Tonus -So we ignore the actions that contradict the definition and only consider the ones that don't? That gives us an incomplete understanding of who god is, doesn't it?
Are we talking about man's definition of God again?
This was Liam's original issue. If the little girl was only sleeping according to Jesus, did he resurrect her or not? Liam implied that Jesus lied.
NO, I said Jesus said the Truth, because he is suppose to always tell the truth because he is God's son or God whichever form of Christianity you believe.
Jesus said; "She is not Dead, but sleeping" So he never resurrected this girl because she was never dead to begin with, and Jesus tried to tell the Crowd that but they refused to listen to Jesus
The crowd kept saying; "The girl is Dead" ...........Jesus kept saying NO SHE IS SLEEPING.
Who lied, The crowd or Jesus?...........The Crowd lied.
The account has nothing to do with people lying or not.
From the people's perspective the girl was dead/unresponsive/unable to be wakened.
From Jesus' perspective she was just sleeping, rather because she was dead or in a coma. In either case, he knew he would wake up/heal/resurrect her back to an awakened lively state. (The dead can also be referred to as resting/sleeping.)

Good, if you accept the words of Jesus as truth then you will also find his statement here just as true-
31 But about the resurrection of the dead—have you not read what God said to you,
32 ‘I am the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob’ ? He is not the God of the dead but of the living.
It appears that neither Abraham, Isaac nor Jacob died either.

It appears Jesus had a problem explaining his views to others. But others used his explanations as a means to get ahead in life. And it worked for many people
It appears Jesus had a problem explaining his views to others.
Suddenly not everything Jesus said was true?

Jesus tells them the girl is NOT DEAD BUT SLEEPING.
Jesus is the TRUTH....He has no Sin......He cannot LIE.
So who do we believe? Jesus to tell the truth, or the People who said she had died?
Halcon, it's called "Sass"
I was trying to make a point since many believe Jesus was sent by God to perform miracles. The resurrection is a big thing to them, but three resurrections is not enough to prove anything. Worse is two resurrections, especially when Jesus admits the girl was not dead which now makes it to two resurrections.
I'm not trying to confirm Jesus was sent by God. I'm trying to show how it all falls apart when examined carefully.
Halcon: Are we talking about man's definition of God again?
I am talking about what god's actions --as depicted in his holy book-- say about him, and am willing to use both god's and man's definitions as a basis of comparison. If these do not align with what we know about him, then we must understand why, otherwise it is difficult to believe that he is real.

One resurrection performed by Christ would suffice for believers. 100 resurrections wouldn't be enough for non-believers.

Look carefully then, and see how Christ described the little girl, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob as all being alive.
