I see a different dimension here, it is a frustrated young men problem, made worse by them being stuck in these marginalized communities, in France, Germany and the Uk. going to fight for ISIS to let off steam, or taking it out on young females, like this time here in Manchester. Against white females, that do not buy into their 'free for all rape culture' nor into their veiled harem marriage concept.

There is no correlation between radicalisation and socio-economic circumstances or education.

I'm sure Mr. Mohammed from my local shop wasn't involved in the bombing, and pretty sure, in fact I know, he's as horrified as I am. He doesn't have a secret agenda or a desire to see all westerners die. He just wants to get on with his life.

I agree 100% however when Mr. Mohammed goes home and beats his son for displaying homosexual tendencies or forces his daughter into an arranged marriage to stop her dating Western men then he is perpetuating a set of values that the rest of the nation around him consigned to history decades ago.

Don't get me wrong, I don't think all Muslims would do the above but we all know how easily religious dogma can brainwash us into accepting some pretty ridiculous or dangerous practices and beliefs.

I completely get that the extremists are twisting things to the grotesque but the question is how much there is in the base content to be twisted. If the so called moderate Muslim majority in this country don't find a way of getting a handle on it and there are more atrocities like Monday night then I fear that we will see people taking a far more militant attitude to Islam and Muslims and frankly there is far too much right wing, nationalistic extremism here already and it really does not need feeding.

Is it your desire to turn the forum into an britain first type muslim bashing forum?

Take your lame "biggot" accusations and shove them where the sun don't shine.

It's people like YOU who contribute to the problem by trying to silence people's opinions so no one dare speak up.

People like YOU are why people stay silent when gangs groom and rape young girls.

How do you know? Because the religion that he's oh so dedicated so says the exact opposite.

So many "moderates", it's hard to believe there can even be an issue. Yet the facts show that a huge numbers have absolutely abhorrent views and think it's acceptable to mutilate their daughters or kill them if they disobey.

Pure baloney. Many come from affluent upbringings and are doing quite well. Some are criminal thugs of their own making. They chose the life, they can easily chose something else. This is the false sob-story excuse that some politicians and apologists want to promote but it simply isn't true.

There are many people who are poor and oppressed who do NOT act the way they do. The problem is their culture if you can even call it that - it's shit.

Against white females, that do not buy into their 'free for all rape culture' nor into their veiled harem marriage concept.

Funny to mention "rape culture" because based on a few (often false) reports of rapes in western countries it's OK to declare all white men rapists or wannabe rapists and at least misogynistic / patriarchal ... but when there is an actual rape-culture and an extreme authoritarian male dominated abusive culture ... crickets, or worse - objections when anyone points it out.

But you are not getting the point. We are not saying the people are bad - likewise, we don't say that Jdubs are bad people.

Regardless of whether the muslims you know are good people or not (i'm sure most are), the fact is they believe in bad ideas, harmful ideas. This is what needs to be criticized. And quite honestly, it is by openly criticizing it that this pathetic religion has a chance to be reformed.

Cofty/ Simon, sorry if my comments were awkwardly expressed. No matter how affluent, the perpetrators in these developments, going overseas for an avanturistic war, unwanted sexual advances, is a young male thing, using the fitting religion, the "radicalisation", the 'heavenly virgins' route, is also a generational thing.

The native young males in Europe, the UK, should push back much harder, not just the right older generation.

What will it take to make it stop?

Or, are terrorist attacks just the new normal now so get used to it?

They can't. If anyone tries then the left / the media ruin their lives and they are branded a race bigot.

This is why the left's appeasement and embracing of Islam (ironically, possibly the most fascist ideology to ever exist) is such a lethal and deadly combination.

One side prevents people standing up to confront it, the other holds the knife to do the attack.

According to the Muslim mayor of London, yes, we just need to accept it as "life in a big city". I guess part of City Living?

Or we could, y'know, try fighting the shits who do this and keep fighting until they are all dead.
