Seems to sum up the Islamic apologetics who prefer the deterioration of bedrock culture of civilization.
Something to ponder: At the root of Islam is violence and terror. Why let Muslims (ppl who really say they are Muslims, not watered-down culture Muslims...) roam free? Is it not better they are all in jail, or even better, send back where they came from originally?

@Berry: The idea of a Muslim Luther is misguided and dangerous. Islam is not a race but a fundamentally violent ideology which will NEVER be able to coexist with civilization. You cannot treat them the same. It is like talking about a Nazi Martin Luther.
Hothabanero, i have some empathy for what you say but consider this. The jewish scriptures is nearly as bad as the Islamic scriptures but compare Israel to the rest of the middle east. in Israel we have a country which is democratic and where muslims and jews and christians live peacefully. The rest of the middle east is a hell hole where jews have left or have been killed and christians are under very great pressure. We can live in hope for now and support people such as Imam Tawhidi and others such as the muslim reform movement.
@berry: I don't get your point. Israel is a good country but all the Muslim countries are shitholes. Obviously something made them that way. My answer? Islam. It is a proof it is not like judaism at all and can never be reformed.
It is a regressive liberal idea that all religions are somehow equally bad. don't fall for it. Proper Muslims have to be murderers.
